I got home from work and was leaning against the idea with the rain, but in the end, I decided I might as well, and so a trip through the Tyne Tunnel again it was. Colliers impressive in Benfield victory Easington Colliery claimed an impressive 4-0 win away to Newcastle Benfield in their final away game of the season on Saturday afternoon. It was only on Tuesday afternoon I discovered I was going down to Wales for work on Wednesday afternoon and staying until Thursday afternoon, and so I immediately looked at where I could go! This one is the game which stood out easily above the rest, and it was only a 30-35 minute drive from my hotel in Wrexham. Raith Rovers vs Inverness Caledonian Thistle

It was a 22 minute drive from Kirkintilloch to Partick Thistle, and there was plenty of time given it kicked off three hours and 10 mintues after the game at Kirkintilloch. Partick Thistle is a nice traditional ground. There are two fairly modern stands plus the old main stand where the dugouts are. That stand wasn't open today, but it looked to have plenty of character....
