⚽ MATCH REPORT | Ferndale/Rodbourne v Pewsey Vale U9 Pumas ⚽

The U9 Pumas travelled to Ferndale/Rodbourne with only five players available, so today’s focus was on conserving energy, maintaining their positions and working together as a team.

With no substitutes, the players rotated throughout the match, giving everyone an opportunity to experience each position. Every one of them worked incredibly hard, passed the ball brilliantly and produced some excellent attacking play.

Their determination was rewarded with the team’s first win of the season—a fantastic achievement for this new group! There were some superb goals, including an outstanding volley from a cross, as well as a first Pewsey goal for one of the players.

The Player of the Match award recognised a brilliant display of effort and positioning across the pitch.

A fantastic team performance from all five Pumas—well done, boys! 🐾⚽

⚽ MATCH REPORT - Pewsey Vale U8s v Swindon Supermarine ⚽

There were lots of positives to take from today’s game, despite it being one of those matches where football didn’t quite reward the team creating the chances—but at least we created plenty!

We saw some excellent decision-making in defence, lots of hard work in midfield to win back possession and some lovely passing to create opportunities. The players were also encouraged to try different positions and adapted really well.

One of the biggest positives was seeing some of the players who were a little quieter last season growing in confidence and becoming much more influential in the game. They dribbled positively, tried new skills and looked to play forward whenever they could—we love to see it!

There were plenty of emotions during the match, which is all part of learning at this age, but the players kept going and, most importantly, left with smiles on their faces. Well done, everyone! ⚽😁

🏆⚽️ U9 PUMAS MATCH REPORT ⚽️🏆

The newly formed U9 Pumas began their season with a fantastic team effort against Marlborough. 💪🔵

Three new faces made their match debuts, and all put in really encouraging performances that will stand them in good stead for the season ahead. 👏🌟

The Pumas produced some excellent moments of football, linking up with some lovely passes and creating plenty of chances for one another. ⚽️✨

There were strong performances throughout the team, including some brilliant anticipation and clearances from the goalkeeper 🧤, as well as excellent tackling and several well-measured passes. 💙👏

The players worked tirelessly and were unlucky not to see more of their chances rewarded, being denied by the post and some excellent goalkeeping from the opposition. 🥅😮‍💨

A really positive first performance from this new team, with plenty to build on as the season progresses. Well done, Pumas! 💙⚽️🙌

⚽️ U11 Falcons Season Opener ⚽️

The U11 Falcons enjoyed a fantastic start to their season against Liden last Sunday!

There were plenty of goals, brilliant passing and communication, great teamwork and, most importantly, a really positive attitude—whatever the score. 👏

Continuing their development from last season, the players rotated positions, giving everyone valuable experience and minutes in a variety of roles.

A brilliant start to the season—well done, Falcons! 💙⚽️

🐾⚽️ U10 WILDCATZ | MATCH REPORT ⚽️🐾

What a fantastic way for our U10 Wildcatz to kick off their new season! 💙🙌

The girls welcomed Malmesbury for a brilliant end-to-end game between two evenly matched sides.

There was some fantastic football on display, including some beautiful goals in the second half, with both teams working hard and making it a really enjoyable and competitive game. ⚽️👏

It’s always a pleasure to play against a team who show such fairness and great sportsmanship – a big thank you to Malmesbury for a lovely morning of football. 💙

A thoroughly enjoyable start to the season for our Wildcatz, with lots of smiles and plenty to look forward to! 🐾⚽️

⚽️💙 U12s | MATCH REPORT 💙⚽️

A really positive start to the season for our U12s today as they travelled away to Abbey Mead, coming away with a 1–1 draw. 👏

The boys put in a fantastic shift across the full 60 minutes, showing plenty of determination, energy and teamwork. They created lots of opportunities going forward while continuing to work hard for one another at both ends of the pitch. 💪🏻

A great team performance with plenty of positives to take into the rest of the season.

An early start for our U9 Panthers this morning as they travelled away to take on HS Sports! 💙

The team put in a calm, hardworking performance from start to finish, producing a brilliantly competitive game with plenty of determination and effort on display. 💪🏻

It was a great opportunity for the Panthers to test themselves and gain valuable match experience, with lots of positives to take forward into the rest of the season.
