Our very skilled friend Dave the woodwork wizard has been busy over the past few weeks on this broken shotgun stock.
The oil from the action had seeped into the wood softening it and causing a crack. Dave firstly removed the oil from the wood round the action. Then levelled the broken area. Pinned and glued new piece into place. Then the hard bit. Dave careful shaped and inlet’d the new piece to perfectly match the original.
I have to say he has done an amazing job and saved a very nice gun.
Unfortunately there aren’t many craftsmen like Dave still working. We’re lucky enough to be able to offer his services and several more specialists in their own areas.

The new Hawke Vantage 34 FFP has landed. Bosting a massive 150MOA/44MRAD elevation in the 3-15x44 variant, and Zero lock elevation turrets and locking windage turrets its a perfect scope for reaching out to those long targets.
