Derby day against Park View U8's and the lads were up for it.
Total different approach to the game, I told the lads we were simply playing my style of football today as although the lads play well, we need to play more as a team, everyone agreed to try and to see how it went.
So...
Nate came away from his normal left handside and went up front.
Reuben went from right wing to left, as he likes to cut in now after showing him in training.
Olly went on the right wing instead of upfront as he's very confident in his whole game and has more belief in himself.
After the whistle blew, Olly had the ball in the net from 2 passes. And the penny dropped!!
Two more, well taken goals, from Nate before half time. Brody and Louis came on to replace Nate and Olly and kept the plan even though they'd be away from training last session, so credit to them.
Second half, PV got one back, but Nate and Louise got one each, concentration lapsed a bit and PV score another 2, but the lads picked their game back up and Reuben got a brace. The game finished with a great goal from PV.
A few goals ahead and I said to the boys to try new things from corners and set plays and they sorted it amongst themselves what to do.
Goals:
Nate: ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Louis: ⚽️
Olly: ⚽️
Reuben: ⚽️⚽️
M.O.T.H Louis- away on holiday for two weeks, hes come back to alot of changes, took them all on board, personally, probably had his best match yet, full of confidence in himself, great personal development.
