A massive congratulations to Vinnie #4 on being named this week’s Trainer of the Week! 👏

Vinnie has been improving week after week, and it’s fantastic to see all of his hard work paying off. He’s really taken on board the coaching points we’ve been giving him, and it’s showing every time he steps onto the pitch.

What has stood out most is his brilliant attitude. He comes to training ready to learn, gives everything he’s got, and is always willing to listen and improve. That positive mindset is exactly what helps players develop, and Vinnie is a great example of that.

Keep working hard, Vinnie. You’re making fantastic progress, and we’re all really proud of you. Well deserved! 🧡🖤

A huge congratulations to Teddy #2 on being named Tamerton Club Player of the Year and receiving the prestigious John Quick Memorial Award.

This recognition couldn’t have gone to a more deserving young man. Teddy’s character, resilience and work ethic shine through every single week. No matter the challenge, he approaches everything with determination, a smile on his face and an attitude that sets an incredible example for everyone around him.

As coaches, Teddy is an absolute pleasure to work with. He listens, learns, works hard and never gives anything less than 100%. His commitment to improving and the respect he shows to teammates, coaches and opponents make him a credit to himself, his family and our club.

Most importantly, Teddy is loved by everyone at Tamerton. He’s the kind of teammate every squad needs and someone we’re all incredibly proud to have representing our badge.

Fraser put in a super impressive display from start to finish, showing fantastic quality and maturity throughout. His unselfish attitude was there for everyone to see, always looking to bring his teammates into the game and making the right decisions in possession. ⚽

He capped off an excellent performance with a goal and an assist, while continually playing brilliant forward passes that kept the team on the front foot and created plenty of attacking opportunities.

Teddy was an absolute force to be reckoned with down the wing, playing with incredible intensity, drive and determination from the first whistle to the last. He used his body brilliantly to protect the ball, was composed in possession and linked play together with some superb passing. ⚽

Week after week, opposition teams struggle to cope with him, and this game was no different. His energy, quality and relentless work rate made him virtually untouchable and a constant threat whenever he was on the ball.

A massive congratulations to Ronnie on a superb performance! 👏

Ronnie has adjusted brilliantly to the step up to 9v9 and is thriving in his new role at left back. He defended with real determination, communicated brilliantly with his teammates throughout and linked up superbly down the flank, helping us both defensively and going forward. ⚽

His attitude, effort and willingness to learn continue to shine through every week, and this performance was thoroughly deserved.

Jaiden has had an exceptional month and has adapted to the move to 9v9 brilliantly. He has embraced the extra space and new challenges with confidence, showing just how much he continues to develop as a player.

Throughout a busy month of tournaments, Jaiden has produced some superb performances, consistently making a real impact whenever he’s stepped onto the pitch. His determination, work rate and quality on the ball have been evident in every game, helping the team compete at a consistently high level. ⚽

One of Jaiden’s standout qualities has been his attitude. Whether it’s training or match day, he arrives ready to work hard, listens carefully, gives everything for the team and always looks to improve. His commitment and willingness to learn have been first class.

Huge congratulations to Evan #3 for earning this week’s award! 🧡

Evan stood out for his excellent attitude & listening all session long, picking up every instruction and applying it perfectly. He performed brilliantly in every drill, showed great awareness with some sharp interceptions, and was absolutely dominating at the back during the end-of-session match – a rock-solid performance from start to finish!

Well done Evan – fully deserved, keep setting that standard! 👏⚽️

While the players receive the applause on matchdays, these three are the heartbeat behind the scenes. From planning training sessions and creating a positive environment to supporting, encouraging and helping every player reach their potential, they give their time selflessly week after week.

The importance of their roles and the difference they make to these children’s lives simply cannot be measured. The confidence they build, the lessons they teach, the smiles they create and the belief they instil will stay with these boys long after the final whistle.

Football is about far more than winning matches, and these three embody everything that Tamerton U11’s stands for.
