⚽ LAST PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY | ELM TIGERS 3–2 RAILWAY BEACON U12s ⚽

Today we travelled away for our final pre-season friendly against a tough Elm Tigers U12s side — and what a game it was! 👏⚽

We knew it was always going to be a big ask today, with 4 players away, most of whom were part of our defence, and with no substitutes, we knew the players were going to have to dig deep.

After going 1–0 down, we showed great character and took the game to Elm. Some fantastic link-up play saw us get ourselves back to 1–1, and suddenly we were right back in the game. 🔥

We perhaps got a little excited and took our foot off the gas, allowing Elm to punish us with two quick goals to make it 3–1.

But what was brilliant to see was the fight, determination and never-say-die attitude from the players. 💪

We managed to pull another goal back with just minutes remaining, and then with the last kick of the game, Bruce smashed a shot across goal which had everyone on their toes! 😱

It wasn't our day result-wise, but there were so many positives to take from that performance, especially given the circumstances.

👏 Congratulations to Elm Tigers U12s on the win. A great game played in a fantastic spirit, and we look forward to meeting again when the league games come around!

❤️💙 GO RAILWAY BEACON U12s! 💙❤️
