What a fantastic day on Sunday at the life centre playing at our Mayflower Specials cup competition, congratulations to the winners Roland Crow, Kelly Hodge and Ron Ellis with runners up Chris Wilson, David Stockdale and Ray Johns.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the competition, Emma & Sharon in the cafe and the volunteers who made all this work.

Just a quick reminder that the disabled bowls club’s AGM is being held on Wednesday 22nd April @ 11:30 in the bowls hall.

Just to let everyone know that the funeral for Tim Knox is being held on Monday 23rd March @ 2pm at the Park room 1. We all offer John, Lil and families our sincere condolences.

After 2 trials and 1 training day at Leicester IBC Andrew Dale has been selected for a fourth time to play for the England squad. The team won the Munro cup last year in Cardiff and will be out to defend it in Leicester.
We wish Andrew the very best of luck.

After a very good first trials at Church Gresley our Andrew Dale will be going again for the 2nd and final trial on the 7th December. Following this the selectors will decide on the final team.
Again we wish Andrew all the very best.
