Go Argyle!!
I really do enjoy these sessions. When you have a room full of people who take a deep breath in and you can see the whole room lift you know you are working with a team!!

I do love these Wednesday afternoon session with the phase 2 new recruits at HMS Raleigh.
Most of these guys are still pretty new to yoga but it makes me happy to see how much they enjoy it, bring their best and great to see the Navy giving diverse options for Wednesday afternoon sessions.

We are opening the space up for early morning meditation sessions. :)
Early Morning meditation sessions starting this week.
I love this circle, we come to together with our palms open, our left palm hand up in the act of receiving and our right palm down in the act of giving and so we create a flow.
The space is far from being finished but we will be opening our doors for early morning meditation sessions.
These will be 30 minute sessions, we will allow five minutes for arriving and settling followed by 20 minutes of silent meditation and the final five minutes to be on our way.
The space is not yet heated so bring a jumper and a meditation cushion if you have one.
These sessions will be run on a donation basis which can be any amount pledged to our crowdfunder:
www.crowdfunder.co.uk/yogaloft
The space will be held by Jo on:
Monday 8.00-8.30am
Wednesday 8.00-8.30am
Friday 8.00-8.30am
The space will be held by Eleonora on:
Tuesday 7.45-8.15am
Thursday 7.45-8.15am
Please come in through the corner door. We look forward to welcoming you to the space.

These have been some of my favourite classes, I have been delivering sessions at HMS Raleigh since 2013 however it has only been in the last couple of years that I have been teaching yoga to their new recruits. I really do enjoy it, they are a big group and it has taken me time to learn how to navigate that but yoga can be so valuable to these guys just starting out on their journey.
A lot of them only make it to one session as they then move on to the next place but I always make time for meditation and a good long relaxation as these young people are usually knackered and meditation is such a valuable tool to have in our tool kit, we simply have to pass it on to the next generation.
