Following the rushed, yet drastically late announcement on Saturday - we have taken the decision to close our doors until further notice.

It's with great regret BUT these are extremely trying times for us all.

We hope that you all look after yourselves and we hope to see you all again in December!

As per the government announcement yesterday - tonight will be the last night that we open until late. From tomorrow we will be operating under new opening times - 16.00 -22.00

We have board games coming this weekend too 🃏

Just want to say a big thank you to those of you who came down and visited us on the weekend, it truly means a lot!

We were happy with how our systems operated and you were all extremely patient so thanks again!

As we are no longer showing any sport, we are getting some board games and card games for you all to enjoy whilst in the venue!

Pop-Up Pirate, Operation, UNO, Jenga & What Do You MEME just to name a few - any ideas on others?

** ANNOUNCEMENT **

We have been closed for a long 6 months BUT it is time we reopen our doors!

So we adhere to guidance released so far we will be a sit down and table service only venue from this Thursday 3rd September.

It will be a first come, first served basis and no bookings will be available.

It is with regret that we can't open like we used too so unfortunately all sports and games will be prohibited until further notice.

We have a one way system in place and certain instructions to follow upon entering the venue so please do bear with us and be as patient as possible with our staff - it's as new to them as it is to you.

We look forward to seeing you again and hope that one day soon we can resume a normal party!

Another day, another COVID-19 business impact post…

Following last night, we have unfortunately come to the decision that as of tonight Play will be closing its doors until this all blows over.

It is evident that Mr. Johnson’s words on Monday evening have had a massive impact on our industry.

Our other venues, Switch & Air, remain OPEN unless we are instructed otherwise. We have over 30 staff relying on an income and we are trying our best to provide them with one.

So, if in this unprecedented time you fancy a party, a few beers, or a conversation about this Black Mirror episode we’re all living in, then please visit our staff as no doubt they will be serving few and far between and will welcome a friendly conversation!
