This saturday we are hosting a social event at the club to follow the 1st XIs massive game against Bradninch & Kentisbeare at Mount Wise. This will begin when all teams have returned to the club. Register teams to Ollie Parsons via DM (Over 18s Only)

Several parents and players from the junior section will be at the club supporting during the day and it would be great to see as many other members and friends coming down to join them for what is a must win game to stay in the Premier Division.

We are looking forward to seeing as many people at the club on Saturday whether that be during the day to support the 1st team or in the bar after the game for the Beer Pong.

Getting to the U15 county final has taken a huge amount of hard work and commitment from a large group of players and families over the season, with some excellent performances against strong opposition. Every player who has been involved this year has contributed to getting us there.

Unfortunately, tonight’s final clashed with Devon fixtures at U13 Boys, U14 Boys, U15 Girls, U15 Girls Development and U16 Girls, meaning we had 10 players unavailable who represent these county teams. We asked if the final could be rearranged, but it wasn’t to be.

So, with the help of some brilliant families, we managed to get a team of 10 together and made the two-hour trip to Filleigh.

Batting first, at 38-4 after 10 overs it wasn’t looking promising. We battled our way to 113… and then defended it with just 10 players!

The attitude, resilience and togetherness the lads showed was outstanding. They competed for each other from the first ball to the last and thoroughly deserved the result.

A huge thank you to the players and families who made themselves available at short notice and committed to a four-hour round trip on a weekday. We couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved tonight. 🏏

🏏 Big weekend of cricket at Plymouth CC – and a huge game for our Women’s 1st XI!

This Sunday, our Women’s 1st XI host Exeter at Mount Wise in what promises to be a massive fixture in the league title race.

With just three league games remaining, two of those against Exeter, and four teams still fighting it out for the league title, every game is crucial. For our young team to be in the hunt at this stage of the season is a fantastic achievement.

We’d love to see as many Plymouth supporters as possible down at Mount Wise on Sunday. A big home crowd can make all the difference, so come along, cheer the team on, and help create a great atmosphere.
