Ker Street FC Juniors - Page Shut Down

The Juniors play at home for the first time this season and will be hoping to put points on the board against a physical Tamerton side.

After finishing on the wrong side of a 5 goal thriller last week, Ker will want to put their hard work in the summer, to better use this week!

The Juniors KO the new season with an away fixture against our good friends FC Galacticos!

A few new faces have been added over the summer and they’ll be hoping to help Ker push towards the right end of the league this season!

Our first squad is out and it includes new signings Safe Hands, Speed Demon, Goal Machine, Mad Dog and the New Magician!

We also welcome back a host of regular names including newly appointed Skipper, Big Al as well as defensive warrior TT and departing Captain, The Enforcer!

Unfortunately Baby Brock is unavailable as he’s too busy sunning himself but with a strong squad, Ker will hope to start the season with 3 points!

Due to some advice from Devon FA and the DJM league, we will be changing the way we post on our social media page.

Unfortunately the match reports will now consist of factual information only with no more of the comic element we try to include.

We will also no longer be able to use photos and names on our Wally of the Week or MoM so these will no longer be included either.

While we totally understand the need to protect children & young people, it does beg the question…….. what’s the point of forcing clubs to get parental consent for photos/videos if it’s then over ruled by leagues and FA’s? 🤔

We will hand this page back to the club to monitor and manage from now on but before we go, we’d like to say one more thing……..

We know there will be some VERY upset people out there tonight, some people who hoped they’d see the back of Ker and even went as far as to try and stitch us up to achieve their goals………. To them we say “your plan didnt work, Ker Street FC is still here despite your best efforts” 🖕🏼

All the lads thoughts and condolences are with the Lewis family.

Sir Allen is our Lifetime President and someone who has ALWAYS supported our club and The Gaffer personally.

Sadly this week he has lost his true love, his beautiful wife Sheena after a short but brave battle.

While no words can take away the pain, know that everyone at Ker is here for you and sending strength.

Anyone who knew Sheena would agree she had a hilarious take on life (she needed it to deal with Sir Al 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣) and that her family were her world.

Hold each other up when needed and remember the lessons she no doubt taught you all, the hillbillies will always be behind you.

What a night! The boys celebrated a long season with their End of Season Awards night!

Every player picked up a trophy as a memento of the season and we also had some perpetuals that were handed out!

This Saturday the boys get to celebrate a tough season with their end of year Presentation 🏆

After announcing a number of departures yesterday, we kick off today with a new addition! 💙❤️

Mase is a super quick attacker with a keen eye for goal, notching 25+ goals in each of the past two seasons for his previous club.

He’s able to play on either wing or as the main striker and will be a massive addition to our front line!

As is the nature of this time of the season, we have lost a few players and the Club would like to wish them all the best in their next steps!

Reggie, Cass, Jace and Henson have joined the newly formed Callington u15’s and we wish them good luck for the coming season 🙌🏻

We’ve also lost Silent Assassin 😭

Due to the logistics of getting from Bodmin to Plymouth twice a week, he’s had to make the unfortunate decision to find a club closer to home.

As he is such a key player, we are gutted to lose him but fully understand the decision he’s made.

Good luck Isaac, we can’t wait to have you back playing for the mens team in a few years!

Don’t panic though, keep your eyes peeled for some NEW SIGNINGS!
