Hooe Rovers Under 7s/8s

Hi all,

It has been an uncertain time for many in this country, so in that respect I hope you are all safe and well. I have loved coaching the kids over these past three years, I’ve met some lovely people along the way who I’m sure will make an impact in youth football and, more importantly, will have fun playing!

However I regret to inform people here that I will no longer be running the Hooe Rovers Mini-Kickers sessions. With the lack of interest it is no longer financially feasible for the club to continue running the session.

Unfortunately I am still unwell (thankfully not with COVID-19) and due to this there will be no training this evening.

We will be taking advice with reference to future sessions of football training (due to the on-going scenario with COVID-19) so please continue to monitor this page for future updates.

Hi all, as I said last night to those that were there, we are changing our training night to a Monday from 5-6 as of next week. This is so that we have a slot in the hall over the winter months, and this ensure that our training sessions are not affected by weather/light. I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible, Joe

Hi all, I’ve been waiting a while to see how the weather unfolds and the rain seems to have stopped now, I’ve also looked at the forecast which says it will be dry for tonight’s training. Training will therefore be on at Coombe Dean from 6-7 as per usual, many thanks, Joe
