Absolutely knackered but what a good lesson tonight! And a great effort from everyone see you next monday!
Through my work I have identified that some of my female colleagues and friends have an interest in learning practical self-defence. Some have had training but felt that due to the techniques complexity would be unable to use them unless they practiced regularly.

The Fighting Fit Self-Defence class will teach basic, effective and easy to use methods of self defence, and general awareness to reduce the risk of becoming a victim. The class will consist of: fitness, practical self-defense skills and a Chi Kung warn down to reduce stress and promote well-being. There are no membership fees, gradings or formalities. The focus is to learn practical self-defence, get fit, have fun and de-stress.

I have worked in the criminal justice system for seven years and have experience of working with violent offenders. I have 26 years martial arts experience, which has helped me to put together a collection of practical methods that can be used to increase confidence, awareness and ability to defend oneself if required.

Recently there has been a lot of interest in core strengthening exercises, general exercise to increase range of movement, self defence and chi kung/Tai Chi style exercise.

I have done some split sessions recently combining massage therapy and core strength training, it has been well received and enjoyable. Feel free to call and discuss or mix things up during your next booking.
