Our dedicated team is friendly, well qualified and passionate about helping you achieve your personal goals and our prices offer excellent value for money. The wall is DOWN. The old mezzanine is DOWN.

And finally, we can stand back and see the sheer size of the open-plan space we’ve created.

And here’s the crazy bit…

After days of knocking down, ripping out and making a ridiculous amount of mess 😂, we’re almost at the point where demolition ends and the exciting part begins…

🏗️ DAY THREE — BUILDING PLYMOUTH’S BIGGEST GYM! 💪🔥

Another busy day on the expansion.

Today we’re still ripping out the old mezzanine and stripping the new units back ready for the fit-out to begin.

We’ve also had 500 new followers in the last 24 hours, so for everyone who’s new here, we’ve given you a quick look around some of our existing Zone Fitness Plymouth facilities so you can see what we’re building on.

And this is only the start. 👀

The existing gym is staying OPEN AS USUAL while we expand into the adjoining units, creating a 26,000–28,000 sq ft facility.

Massive thanks for all the support so far.

Our members are this club.

They come from all walks of life. Different ages, different backgrounds, different abilities and completely different reasons for training.

There is no stereotype of a Zone Fitness member.

And sometimes the people with the biggest preconceptions about gyms are the people who have never actually stepped through the door.

We want to change that.

🏗️ DAY TWO — THE BUILD CONTINUES!

Another big day on the Zone Fitness Plymouth expansion! 💪🔥

Today the new ceiling tiles have arrived and the old mezzanine is coming down as we continue stripping the new units right back.

We’ve probably got another 2–3 days of rip-out ahead of us…

Then the exciting bit begins. 👀

THE FIT-OUT! 🚀

That’s when you’ll really start to see our 26,000+ sq ft gym taking shape.

We’re extending the existing Zone Fitness into the adjoining units to create Plymouth’s largest gym — and we’re taking you through the entire build with us.

And remember — we’re OPEN AS USUAL throughout the expansion and NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME NOW! 💪

🏗️ DAY ONE. BLOG ONE.

WE’RE EXTENDING ZONE FITNESS PLYMOUTH! 💪🔥

The existing gym is OPEN AS USUAL throughout the build and NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME NOW!

We’re not replacing the gym you already know — we’re making it MASSIVE.

Our existing Zone Fitness Plymouth is expanding into three huge adjoining units, creating a 26,000+ sq ft facility and what will be Plymouth’s largest gym.

For the last few days, we’ve been doing the dirty work — knocking down the dividing walls, stripping everything back and turning three separate units into one enormous space.

Right now it looks like a building site… because it is! 😂

But once the strip-out is complete, this is going to move FAST. 👀

Walls down. Space opened up. Then we start creating. 🚀

And we’re going to take you with us — from demolition right through to the finished gym.

If you use an Apple Watch, your new Zone Fitness digital pass can be available on your watch too.

That means you won’t even need to get your phone out when entering the gym.

Your digital pass is linked securely to you, helping us prevent passes being shared and making our new 24/7 access system even more secure.

📲 HOW YOUR NEW DIGITAL GYM PASS WILL WORK

IMPORTANT — PASSES HAVE NOT BEEN SENT YET.
This post is simply to show you how our new 24/7 entry system will work when it goes live.

Your new Zone Fitness pass will be downloaded and added to your smartphone wallet, much like adding a bank card for Apple Pay.

Once installed, your gym pass stays securely linked to your phone. When you arrive at the gym, simply bring up your pass and hold your phone near the reader to gain entry. Quick, simple and secure. 🔐

Having the pass secured to your phone also helps us keep the gym safer, as passes can’t simply be shared with other people.

When we’re ready to launch, we’ll send your personal link and pass directly to you. If we don’t have your correct email address and contact details, you may not receive it.

📲 YOUR NEW 24/7 GYM PASS IS COMING SOON!

Just to be clear — passes have NOT been sent out yet. You haven’t missed anything! 👍

As part of our move to 24/7, we’ll soon be sending every member their new digital gym pass.

Your pass will live in your smartphone wallet and works much like Apple Pay — simply present your phone for entry. Quick, easy and secure.

🍏 Smart phone supported
📧 Existing members will receive their pass by email
🆕 New members will receive theirs when they join
🔐 The current fingerprint system will eventually be phased out

For now, all we need you to do is make sure your email address and contact details are up to date with us.

You may see some information about the new passes appearing before they’re sent — this is simply part of the setup process.

We’ll tell you when the passes are being sent, so please don’t contact us requesting one just yet.
