On Thursday we hosted the Annual Plymouth Primary School Festival

A fantastic day as always!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and well done to all the winners!

🏆 WEST LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 🏆

As many of you will have seen, we were delighted to announce yesterday that we were named West Club of the Year.

That achievement is only possible because of the many volunteers who give up their time and work tirelessly both on and off the pitch to make our club the success that it is.

At the heart of it all is our incredible Chair, Jackie Daw, whose dedication, selflessness, and commitment to hockey over so many years has had a huge impact on both our club and the wider hockey community.

We are therefore incredibly proud to announce that .daw.3 has won the Lifetime Achievement Award! 💚

I’m sure there are countless stories of the ways Jackie has supported, inspired, and helped shape people’s journeys in hockey. This award is just a small reflection of everything she has given to the sport across the city and region.

Jackie, alongside the club, has now been shortlisted for the National Lifetime Achievement Award!

The ceremony will take place in Leicester on Saturday 6th June, please see Spond for ticket details.

After what has been an unbelievable season, it could only be topped off by winning Club of the Year!

- 3 teams promoted
- 636 goals scored
- An influx of members
- A thriving junior section
- A 5th Women’s team implemented
- A handful of our Senior’s representing on the National & Regional stage and bringing home silverware
- Several of our junior teams progressing to the Regional & National stages of their competitions
- An welcoming and inclusive environment that has something for everyone
- And much more!

All of this in our second season as Plymouth Lions Hockey Club!

It doesn’t stop there, this now puts us on the shortlist for NATIONAL CLUB OF THE YEAR 🤩

A massive thank you to everyone that has helped formed this club into what it is, a lot of time and effort goes in behind the scenes to bring the success we have on the pitch.
