Royal Western Yacht Club The Royal Western Yacht Club, founded in 1827 and based in Plymouth, Devon.

A members’ club hosting sailing events, races and social gatherings, with room hire available for private functions and celebrations. Benefits being part of the Club:

Fancy getting out on the water this season? Whether you’re an experienced sailor, keen to learn, or simply want to spend some time out on the water, our Meet the Skippers evening is the perfect opportunity to meet local skippers and find out what sailing opportunities are available.
The evening is open to anyone interested in sailing, including university students looking to find a boat to crew on for the season.
Come along to:
Meet skippers looking for new crew
Find out about different boats and sailing opportunities
Meet other people interested in getting out on the water
Arrange sailing and crewing opportunities for the upcoming season
Ask questions if you’re new to sailing and would like to learn
Skippers – we’d love to see you too!
If you have a boat and are looking for new crew, come along, meet some potential crew members and see who might be a good fit for your boat.

Whether you’re looking to learn to sail, get more experience, find a regular boat to crew on, or simply get out on the water, come along and see what opportunities are out there.
Everyone is welcome – you never know, you might find your boat for the season!
