ad A few months ago I noticed I was feeling a little more anxious than usual, and the extra caffeine wasn’t helping. Since making the switch, I’ve found matcha gives me a gentler energy boost without the same jitters or crashes I was experiencing.
One of the reasons matcha feels different is because it naturally contains L-theanine, an amino acid that may help promote a calmer, more focused feeling alongside caffeine.
This morning’s matcha has had a little protein upgrade using vanilla milkshake and their matcha powder 💚
SUPER QUICK & EASY INSTRUCTIONS:
🧊 First, fill a glass with ice.
🍵 Next, whisk 5g of matcha powder with 80ml of hot water (around 75–80°C). I like to whisk in a “W” motion until it’s smooth.
🥛 Then, pour your chilled vanilla protein milkshake over the ice.
✨ Top it with the matcha, give it a quick stir, and enjoy!
Disclaimer: you absolutely do not need to add protein to your matcha. matcha is amazing (if you like it) with any milk of your choice!! and if you know me, you’ll know I’m not generally a huge fan of the “protein everything” marketing!
✨ BUT ✨ personally, when the weather gets hot, my appetite tends to dip so is one simple way I’ve found to sneak a few extra grams of protein into my day!! and I enjoy it!?
It also means I get to enjoy a vanilla matcha without needing any extra sugar syrups, as the protein powder adds plenty of flavour on its own! 🦷✨
Plus, it’s cold, refreshing, and genuinely tastes good 😍

the first 6 months of 2026 have flown by!
Honestly one of the most challenging times of my life - going freelance straight out of university in a new field of work and figuring it all out!
I’m definitely still in the messy middle but I’m learning to be OK with navigating things as I go.. (perfectionism held me back for way too long).
A few highlights as a nutritionist:
🩷 I held my first event! Nourish & Flourish: the feel good brunch (and received some of the loveliest feedback from those who attended)
🤍 I spent a week in Plymouth public speaking across 3 locations?! Including a guest lecture at the university I studied at the previous year?!
🩵 I went to London to host 2 days of workshops for staff working in children’s residential care. My love for working with children and young people will ALWAYS shine through and I look forward to more collaborations in this field to support individuals who didn’t get a fair start in life!
🧡 I coach the most incredible women to break free from diet culture and feel their best, nourished selves!
I am so incredibly grateful so each and every opportunity and for my amazing clients who trust me to coach them through their health & fitness journeys!!
On a personal note, I’ve been whacked out of my comfort zone more times than I can explain, visited my friends and family in India for the first time in 3 years (so incredibly grateful) and invested in myself to continually develop as a person & coach for my clients!
Thanks for being here! Roll on the rest of 2026 💥
it’s true 🙂↕️
