🎉 100,000 visitors and a record-breaking year for Tinside Lido 🌊
This summer, Tinside Lido welcomed an incredible 100,000 visitors, making it the most successful season in the venue's modern history.
From family swims and sunrise dips to floating sound baths, silent discos, live music and community events, Tinside has become a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike.
Through Plymouth Sound National Marine Park's Horizons Project, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, previously underused spaces have been brought back to life, helping more people enjoy this special corner of Plymouth's waterfront.
☕ The Coffee Pod has become a popular year-round meeting place.
🎶 The restored Floor 2 events space has welcomed a growing programme of activities, events and celebrations.
🏊 Water safety sessions and youth programmes have helped more young people build confidence in and around the water.
Together, these improvements have helped Tinside become more than a seasonal place to swim. It's a place where people can connect with the sea, heritage, wellbeing and community all year round.
A huge congratulations to Plymouth Active Leisure and everyone who helped make this a summer to remember.
Tinside's restoration and enhancement were made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with money raised by National Lottery players.
