⚽ FULL TIME | SB Frankfort Reserves 9-1 Dobwalls 2nds

Admin has realised he can post full time results for pre-season 👀

Just 1-0 at half time, but the lads really turned it on after the break and produced an excellent second-half performance.

The goals started flowing as we moved the ball quicker, created chance after chance and punished Dobwalls whenever the opportunities came. Plenty of different scorers involved and some very good football played throughout.

We eventually had to lend Dobwalls a player, with Arran Sturrock switching sides and, naturally, ending up scoring their goal against us. You genuinely couldn’t write it 😂

A very good result, but more importantly a strong all-round performance and another positive step forward in pre-season. All the best to Dobwalls for the upcoming season.

Pre-season continues this Saturday as we welcome Dobwalls 2nds to Manadon for our first home fixture of the summer.

A strong squad of 16 has been named, with the lads looking to build on the work done so far and continue sharpening up ahead of the new South Devon League season.

Another valuable test, more minutes in the legs and a first chance to play at home under the new SB Frankfort Reserves name.

Pre season continues this Saturday as we face Torpoint 3rds at Foulston Park.

A strong squad of 17 has been named for the game, with plenty of competition for places and another good opportunity to get valuable minutes into the legs.

The lads will be looking to build on the work done so far, keep improving and put in another positive performance ahead of the new season.

🏆 Presentation Evening 2026 🏆

A brilliant evening at the Three Crowns on the Barbican celebrating another season together. Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners:

A special mention also goes to Jake Bell, who was awarded the Trevor Gorman Memorial Cup. This award recognises the outstanding contribution made by a young player stepping into adult football, and it couldn’t have gone to a more deserving recipient.

The trophy was presented by last year’s winner, first team player Bobby Stone.

The celebrations didn’t stop there either, with plenty of the lads staying out on the Barbican afterwards to watch England send Norway packing🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Congratulations again to all of our winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the club throughout the season. Here’s to another successful year in green and yellow! 💚💛⚽

⚽ THIS SATURDAY | Millbrook Football Club 1sts vs SB Frankfort Reserves

Another pre season test awaits this weekend as we make the short trip across the water to face Step 6 side Millbrook 1sts.

It promises to be a tough challenge against strong opposition and another valuable opportunity to continue building towards the new season.

A large squad of 19 makes the trip, with a few more new faces involved as trialists. With an 11am kick off, it’ll be an early start for the lads, but one they’re looking forward to as everyone continues to stake their claim for a place in the squad.

⚽️ MATCHDAY TOMORROW | SB Frankfort Reserves vs Liskeard Reserves

After a strong start to pre season training, it’s finally time for our first test of the summer as we make the trip to Callington to face Liskeard Reserves.

A squad of 16 heads down for our opening friendly, with a few new faces joining us as trialists looking to impress. Pre season is all about building fitness, getting minutes into the legs and continuing to develop the squad ahead of the new campaign.

We’re looking forward to seeing what the lads can produce in our first outing under the new SB Frankfort Reserves name.💚
