🔥 FULL TIME | WALDON ATHLETIC 0-1 SB FRANKFORT RESERVES

Not the prettiest, but another massive three points on the road. To keep us top of the league… for now 💚💛

It was a tight game throughout, with the difficult pitch making it hard for either side to really get the ball down and play.

We thought we’d broken the deadlock twice, with Max Jackson and Keanu Webb both finding the back of the net, only for both goals to be dubiously ruled out.

With the game still goalless heading into the final minutes, Liam Loftus stepped up. A brilliant run in the 88th minute ended with a composed finish to finally make it 1-0. ⚽🔥

The lads saw out the remaining minutes to secure another huge away victory and, importantly, a clean sheet.

🏆 MOTM: Alfie Perks, a great shift on the wing and worked tirelessly throughout.

🍆DOTD: Max Jackson, for refusing to accept that his perfectly legitimate goal somehow didn’t count and making sure absolutely everyone knew about it.

After last week’s battle at Buckland, this was a completely different test, but another one we found a way to win.

Three points. Clean sheet. Job done. ✅

⚽ Liam Loftus

Huge thanks as always to our sponsors MVV Environment for their continued support.

🏆 SEPTEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH | JAKE MALONEY 🏆

What a start to the new season for last season’s top goalscorer Jake Maloney. 🔥

Across just 3 games, Jake has racked up an incredible 9 goals and 3 assists, including a ridiculous SIX goals in a single game. 🤯⚽

Jake has been absolutely relentless in the final third, contributing to 12 goals in just 3 appearances. Long may that continue 💪🏼

A month that speaks for itself.

👕 3 Games
⚽ 9 Goals
🎯 3 Assists
1️⃣ Six-goal haul

Congratulations, Jake. Thoroughly deserved! 👑💚💛

🟢🟡 THIS WEEKEND | WALDON ATHLETIC (A)

We are are back in action this Saturday as we travel to Windmill Hill to take on Waldon Athletic.

We head into this one full of confidence after last Friday’s massive 3-2 win away at Buckland Athletic, but attention now turns to another tough away fixture as we look to keep the momentum going. 💪

We head into the weekend fresh and ready to go. Despite a convincing win over Waldon a couple of weeks ago, we’re expecting a much tougher test this time around.

Another strong squad named, including the long-awaited (possible 👀) return of Wayne Jago, who makes his way back into the matchday squad.

🤝💚💛 PROUDLY SPONSORED BY MVV ENVIRONMENT

A huge thank you to MVV Environment for their continued support of SB Frankfort Reserves for the 2026/27 season.

Club President Mark Davies, Manager Jared Miles and Captain Max Jackson were delighted to meet with Jane Ford, Communications & Community Relations Manager at MVV Environment Devonport, to officially showcase this season’s new kits.

MVV’s Devonport Energy from Waste facility plays an important role locally, using non-recyclable waste to generate energy which supplies heat and electricity to HM Naval Base Devonport, while also generating electricity for the wider network.

And we got the perfect opportunity to showcase one of the new kits last night, wearing our new away strip for the first time as the Reserves secured a massive 3-2 win away at Buckland Athletic 3rds under the lights at Homers Heath. ⚽🔥

MVV’s support has helped us provide the squad with two brilliant new kits for the season, with their logo proudly displayed across the front.

Support from local businesses makes a massive difference to grassroots football, helping clubs like ours continue to grow both on and off the pitch.

A massive thank you to Jane and everyone at MVV Environment for getting behind the Reserves. We’re proud to have you with us for the season ahead. 🤝

🔥 FULL TIME | BUCKLAND ATHLETIC 3RDS 2-3 SB FRANKFORT RESERVES

A massive result under the lights at Homers Heath as the Reserves come away with all three points after a proper battle. 💚💛

We went into half-time 2-0 up, with Jake Maloney finishing off a well-worked move before Keanu Webb produced a great finish for the second. Buckland pressed intensely throughout and made us work for everything.

Webb then grabbed his second after the break with a brilliant run and finish to put us 3-0 ahead. ⚽⚽

The game changed when Jake Bell was shown a second yellow, leaving us down to ten men for the final 25 minutes. With the cards flowing freely in the SB direction, it quickly became backs-against-the-wall stuff.

Buckland pulled one back from a corner before being awarded a questionable penalty with two minutes remaining to make it 3-2. But the ten men dug deep, defended everything and saw out the final minutes to secure a huge three points. 💪

⚽⚽ Keanu Webb
🏆 MOTM: Keanu Webb

After both sides had already scored 13 in a game this season, this was always going to be a big early test. Going to Homers Heath, scoring three and holding on with ten men makes it a massive statement to the rest of the league.

What a shift from the lads. Up the Frankfort! 🟢🟡

Huge thanks as always to our sponsors MVV Environment for their continued support.

⚽ FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL UNDER THE LIGHTS

The Reserves are back in action this Friday as we make the trip to Homers Heath to take on Buckland Athletic 3rds.

After a weekend without a fixture, the lads will be looking forward to getting back out there, and it doesn’t get much better than a Friday night under the lights on Buckland’s first-team pitch. 🏟️💡

It should be an entertaining one too, with both sides already scoring 13 goals in a single game this season. We’ll be looking to carry that momentum into what should be a much tougher test away from home.

A strong squad available and a brilliant venue for it. Looking forward to this one! 💚💛

A rare Saturday off for us this weekend, giving the lads a chance to put their feet up and find out what normal people actually do on a Saturday afternoon. 😂🍻

A dominant performance from the Frankfort as we get our first win in the South Devon League.

We came flying out of the blocks and took complete control of the game, going into half time 5-1 up. No let-up after the break either, with another eight goals added in a ruthless second-half display to finish 13-1.

A massive thank you to The Blue Peter - Plymstock for sponsoring Jake Bell for the 2026/27 season! 🍻⚽

The Blue Peter is a fantastic local pub and a great supporter of grassroots football. We’re hugely grateful to have another local business getting behind the Reserves this season.

Jake even popped in to say thank you personally and, judging by the photos, was quickly put to work behind the bar! 😂🍺

Support from local businesses makes a massive difference to the team and helps us continue to grow both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to everyone at The Blue Peter for your support this season. It’s massively appreciated by Jake and everyone at SB Frankfort Reserves. 💚💛
