It’s cup action this Saturday as Pointon FC welcome Kirton Town FC to Helpringham Playing Fields in the 1st Round of the Fishtoft Cup.

A disappointing result this afternoon as we narrowly fell to a 3–2 defeat against Spilsby Town Reserves.

Despite the result, the lads showed great character and battled right until the final whistle. Our goals came from Ian Jacquest and Max Rawson, but it wasn’t quite enough to take anything from the game.

We dust ourselves down and go again next Saturday as we welcome Kirton Town to Helpringham Playing Fields in the Fishtoft cup. We hope to see plenty of support as we look to bounce back.

Finally a huge thank you to The Brass Windmill for hosting the team’s after the match. Your hospitality is greatly appreciated.

A 3:1 loss today at home to Kirton town adults in a competitive game from start to finish, well done to the Kirton lads.

A competitive game against Bourne Town Reserve’s tonight in the Smith Carrington Cup, Some good minutes in the legs for the lads. Well done to Bourne Town FC - Reserves on winning the game 4:2 and lifting the trophy. Onto saturday 💙
