There’s a new triathlon event taking place this summer in Swansea and Swim Safety will be looking after the water safety.



The Ironman Swansea event will be taking place on Sunday 7th August and we’re currently looking to recruit local kayakers to join our team. The event is likely to be run at the venue for a number of years, therefore I was wondering if any of your members might be interested?

⚠️ Pollution Incident - River Tawe, Swansea⚠️
We have been notified that Natural Resources Wales and Dwr Cymru are investigating a discharge of sewage into the River Tawe in Swansea.
This could have an effect on the water quality in the Tawe and people are being asked to avoid any recreational activity below White Rock Bridge and into Swansea Bay.
UPDATE: It is now advised that the river is avoided up as far as the weirs adjacent to Fendrod lake, GR SS67133 97304.

Unfortunately we are unable to restart our pool sessions at present.
Hopefully this is a temporary measure but we do intend to restart sessions as soon as practically possible.
