After a spectacular day yesterday, it the 3rd & final day at HFW! Good luck swimmers! 🙏🙏

That’s a wrap folks! Thank you Neath ASC it’s been a blast! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Round up for the final session is equally as impressive as the others in terms of PBs! 👏

There were mind blowing time improvements for Amber, Erin and Ava in the 200 IM. We also saw Gwilym compete for the first time (and with a smile).

Medal wise there were golds for both Eryn and Niamh, another silver for Max and a bronze for Meg and Ava. We also saw a few more qualifications for Nationals!

If anyone has been left out please post as my brain as officially melted in the heat!

A huge thanks to Dave Coaches (sorry couldn’t resist) who has been a rock and must have walked miles up and down the pool this weekend. Then there’s the wonderful Emma who every swimmer adores and wants to be BFF with. There are no words to express our thanks to you both. You have volunteered your entire weekend for the Club (and in a sauna)!

A couple of other mentions to coaches and competitors Martin and Nicola who put their money where their mouth is and swam through the wall. And last but by no means least massive thanks to head honcho Paul - who is the man with the plan which is clearly paying off!

REMINDER: Today is the deadline for entries into the Club for the sub-regionals at Haverfordwest next month! 👍

Day 2 1st Session done and dusted and it was a cracker. So proud of all our swimmers especially our younger ones who been unfazed by a 50m pool.

That’s the 3rd and final session done for today at the Neath Open.

Once again PBs were coming in thick and fast. There was also more bling with 🥉for Gruff, Chloe H, Erin D, Eryn J and Ollie and Max swam brilliantly to take a 🥈in the 50 Back . Well done also to Lily and Niamh who qualified for the Nationals!

Dolphins …. you are all superstars! 🎉🎉🎉

Neath Open Session 2 was a good un’! Some stonking PBs for the team plus Lily, Meg & Gruff took home 🥈🥈🥈.

Fantastic to also see some of our Masters competing.

REMINDER: Due to this weekend’s competition, on Sunday any Development swimmers who usually swim 4:30-5:30pm will now swim for this one off session @ 5:30-6:30pm. They will join those in Competitive Squad who have not competed over the weekend 👍👍👍👍
