Did you set out to be fitter and healthier in 2018 but already crashed and maybe fallen off the wagon?
Starting a new health and fitness journey at 100mph without the correct tools is always going to end one way!! FAILURE
Not because you are a failure but because you have failed to prepare. There are a number of factors you need to consider.
Mindset- without the correct mindset it is impossible to get through the hard times of dieting, workouts and picking up that favourite snack.
Goals- if you don't set realistic goals you will always be chasing the impossible and if the results don't come quick enough you will lose motivation
Nutrition- if your 'new' nutrition plan isn't built around you or fit in with your lifestyle then how do expect it to work for you? You need something that is sustainable for you for a long period of time.
Exercise- if you are new to exercise you don't want to flog yourself at your very first session or join the advanced circuit/spin classes at the local gym. You won't enjoy it and you probably will find any excuse to skip the next class. You need something you can enjoy and who knows, maybe make new like minded friends.

What do you expect from a PT??
What would you expect in return for your large investment in a trainer?
Most PTs are there to help you train because you can't get motivated. They aren't really bothered about anything other than getting you in and out of the gym and taking your money..
Myself however, I feel a good PT/coach is someone who genuinely cares about your health, goals and performance during sessions.
When I work with a client I like to identify underlying problems and help with their life away from the gym. A good coach is more than someone who just wants your money and isn't truly passionate about helping people.
Although there is a lot of PTs to choose from there is only a few of us who really care about our clients.
This is why I genuinely believe I stand out from most because of my passion to help my clients and providing more than expected from anyone who I work with.

A perfect example of the importance of eating enough calories!
This guy has been on a weightloss journey for a few months and has done incredibly well BUTwas massively under eating.
He approached me to have a look at his diet and help him get leaner as he plateaued and was stuck with what to do.
After scruiteneering his current diet, it was evident he has massively under eaten and is very depleted.
I doubled his daily calorie intake and periodised his meals and this is the result.
Left pic- low calories, depleted and flat
Right pic- double kcals, fuller, tighter,leaner and more hydrated
This was just 1 week after following our conversation
