From all the instructors at Jitae, we'd like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas.
A lot is different this Christmas, but the important things remain the same. It's a time to spend with your loved ones and family, although the way we might do that could be a little different.
Whether as a part of your bubble, on the phone, through facetime, or even over the garden fence, sharing this time with the people that matter most and remembering those that can't be here but are still forever in our thoughts, is what matters.
Who knows what 2021 will throw at us, but hopefully everyone will have the strength and spirit to meet it all head-on, and manage to make the very best of it.
I hope to see you all in the dojang next year, so keep moving, keep stretching, and stay safe.

Hey there Taekwondo'ers.
As you know, the recent lockdown is due to end on the 2nd December.
Unfortunately, if you were like me and were looking forward to kicking the stuffing out of the Bob's on Saturday, you'll be disappointed to know that due to Wakefield being designated Tier 3, the Sports Centre will not be able to open.
Obviously this is not good news, with more time away from the dojang, and more time away from training.
Please stay strong everyone. Do keep practising, keep stretching, and include some exercise in your week. Little and often is usually the best way to help minimise loss in fitness and skill.
Look after yourselves and your loved ones.
See you all soon 👊🥋

Well, as you may have suspected, the new changes have meant that the Sports Centre will close on Wednesday this week meaning the next class won't be until the 5th December.
The recent classes have been going very well, with good turn-outs, and the 90 minute classes seem to give everyone the opportunity to push the pace a little.
In addition, Master Frost has confirmed that the plan is to hold a kup grade on the 12th December, so keep moving/stretching/practicing/learning.
I'll be looking to publish some terminology quiz's on this site, so everyone can stay sharp, so keep 'em peeled.
See you all soon.

Hi all,
As you'll have seen in the news, West Yorkshire will move into Tier 3 from Monday, but we'll get confirmation out before next Saturdays class as to how this will affect training (if at all).
Don't forget, there are no classes this weekend (31st October & 1st November) due to building work at the Sports Centre.
So keep moving, keep stretching, and we'll see you all soon.
26/10/2020
There are some building works taking place at the Featherstone Sports Centre, so no Taekwondo on the 31st October, and 1st November.
We'll be back the following week though.
We'll also be making use of the Bob's and punch bags, so don't forget to bring:
- Bag Gloves
- Paddle
- Skipping Rope
- Tennis Ball (if you don't know, you'll find out...)
24/10/2020
If you're training today, don't forget a tennis ball, and write your initials on it so you can keep track of it.

Hi all, following the recent government updates, classes are still on today as normal.
