Hi everyone this will be my last post on this page

I would like to say thank you for following this page I’ve had great fun posting on it

I’d like to thank everyone connected to Llantrisant & Pontyclun Golf Club for your support the last 2 and half years the members the management team and most of all my team Dave Neil and Josh

You guys deserve nothing but the best I’m sorry I can’t provide that at the moment life throws you a curve ball sometimes which I still don’t fully understand which I need to focus on

It been one of the most difficult decisions of my career made so many friends at the club

And the club the course and the team deserve 100% which I can’t give at the moment

First full weekend set up of the new golf season greens cut new markers out and full rake bunkers for captains drive in ⛳️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️☀️👌

Been a busy week being a short week the team have smashed the weather has helped at time and not at others got a couple of sprays on lots of cutting some staff training and some more path work done paths ready for more drainage and edging then bark chip a ongoing project

Busy weekend out on the course even with the weather setting up for play finishing irrigation repairs drainage on pathways and a cut and spray today a new mix for us to help with moisture management
Hopefully 🤞 the forecast is right for better weather and we can get moving on the rest of the course for the season

Out with the old in with the new replaced a 40 year old solenoid valve which was working for new rainbird PGR valve just new box to build and wiring and decoder to connect up now ⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️💦

Mother Nature isn’t helping much at the moment but there still plenty going on out on the course with slitting fairways started Irrigation repair work started with replacing a 40 year old valve and path repair work 🏌️‍♂️⛳️🏌️‍♀️🚜

With the weather against us this week we’ve give the aeration and the maintenance work a break so has given us a chance to move projects forward with starting to put the new edge on the bunker on 10 Josh has done a brill job with that and the path project moving forward with drainage done and getting the path ready for chip bark busy busy ⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️🚜

A break in the weather chance to get a cut on the greens before the next band of rain forecast looking great after recent maintenance just need some help off Mother Nature now ⛳️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️👌☀️

The team have smashed it the last couple of weeks with the maintenance to the greens with a verti-drain,roll,spray then double verti-cut,cut,top dress and granular feed air2g2 next week we’re in a good position going into the season despite the weather ⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️☀️👌

Something abit different today a chance to look at some new bit of kit at the Ted Hopkins demo at The Celtic manor and chance to catch up with some old faces ⛳️🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️🚜🚜
