📢Senior Player Recruitment

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome back 21-year-old Taliesin Thomas to the Senior Team.

Taliesin returns to rugby after a few years away from the game, having previously played for Llantwit Fardre.

Now in his third year at the University of South Wales, where he is studying to become a chiropractor, Taliesin is combining his studies with a return to rugby.

An exciting prospect, Taliesin has the ability to play on the wing, and we’re looking forward to seeing him get back to playing and developing within the Senior Team.

And there could be a very special moment on the cards this season…

Taliesin could line up on the wing alongside his brother Mabon. A fantastic prospect for the brothers and one that would undoubtedly make for a very proud day for the Thomas family!

We’re delighted to have Taliesin back involved and can’t wait to see him back out on the field in a Llantwit shirt.

📢Senior Player Recruitment

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Ethan Hardwidge to the Senior Team.

Ethan is another exciting Llantwit Fardre Mini & Junior and Youth product making the step up to senior rugby.

A former Bryn Celynnog pupil, Ethan has already gained valuable experience playing at a high level. He helped Coleg y Cymoedd win the Development League and also represented Pontypridd Schools U16, playing in the Dewar Shield Final.

A talented and versatile front-row player, Ethan is comfortable at both tighthead and loosehead prop. He has really impressed the coaching team during pre-season, particularly in the game against Dowlais, where he showed his physicality and ability to compete at senior level.

Ethan will also be continuing his education at the University of South Wales, where he will study Sports Coaching and PE, while representing Llantwit Fardre at weekends.

We’re really excited to see Ethan make the transition into senior rugby and believe he has plenty of potential to develop into an important member of the Senior Team.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Lewis James Pitman to the Senior Team.

Lewis is another exciting young player coming through the Llantwit Fardre Mini & Junior and Youth sections, and we’re delighted to see him making the step up to senior rugby.

A former Ysgol Garth Olwg pupil, Lewis is a talented second row who has developed through our club pathway and has plenty of potential as he begins his senior career.

Lewis is also heading to Cardiff Metropolitan University to study Business Management with Finance, but we’re delighted that he will continue to represent Llantwit Fardre at weekends while studying.

It’s fantastic to see our young players continuing their rugby alongside their education, and we’re looking forward to seeing Lewis develop and establish himself within the Senior Team over the coming seasons.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Hari Edwards to the Senior Team.

Hari is another fantastic youth product who has played all of his rugby with Llantwit Fardre, progressing through our Mini & Junior and Youth sections.

A former Ysgol Garth Olwg pupil, Hari is an exciting and versatile back who can play at full-back or on the wing.

Hari has really impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season with his speed, commitment and attitude, and is an exciting runner who can cause plenty of problems for opposition defences.

As he makes the step up to senior rugby, we’re really looking forward to seeing Hari continue his development and showcase his ability on the senior stage.

Another exciting young player coming through our pathway, and one we’re sure will be great to watch.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Colby Cooper to the Senior Team.

Colby is another fantastic product of our Mini & Junior and Youth sections, and we’re excited to see him make the full transition into senior rugby this season.

A talented and versatile forward, Colby can play both second row and back row, giving him plenty of options as he continues to develop his game.

A former Bryn Celynnog School pupil, Colby has already had a taste of senior rugby. At the end of last season, he made the step up to our 2nd Team, making four appearances following the conclusion of the Youth season.

Those experiences will be invaluable as Colby now looks to establish himself within the Senior Team.

Our coaches are really looking forward to seeing Colby turn out regularly for the seniors this season and continue his development within the club.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome 18-year-old Harrison Jenkins to the Senior Team.

Harrison has played all of his rugby through the Llantwit Fardre Mini & Junior section and has spent the last two seasons with our Youth Team.

He comes highly praised by his Youth coaches.

This season sees Harrison make an exciting transition from flanker to centre. We believe he has the skill set, physical attributes and rugby understanding to make the change successfully and develop into a very effective centre at senior level.

A Cardinal Newman pupil, Harrison has really impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season with his attitude, ability and willingness to learn.

We’re particularly excited to see Harrison continue his development under Dan John, the Ospreys player who is coaching our backs this season. Having the opportunity to learn from a player of Dan’s experience will be fantastic for Harrison’s development.

Another exciting young player coming through our pathway, and one we believe has a very bright future in senior rugby.

Llantwit Fardre RFC are delighted to welcome back 22-year-old Jack Ingram to the Senior Team.

Jack returns to the club this season following a short stint away, and we’re delighted to see him back in a Llantwit shirt.

Another product of our Mini & Junior section, Jack excelled throughout his youth rugby and has already gained valuable experience playing at senior level.

A ho**er, Jack represented Pontypridd Schools U16 District and also played his rugby at Bryn Celynnog School.

Jack has huge potential as a front-row player and has really impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season with his skill set, physicality and attitude.

At just 22, we believe there is plenty more to come from Jack, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development and make an impact within the Senior Team.

A local player from Llantwit Fardre and a former pupil of Bryn Celynnog School, Rhys is another exciting product of our youth pathway.

A talented scrum half, Rhys has impressed the coaching staff throughout pre-season with his skills, fitness and attitude. His performances have shown plenty of promise, and we’re looking forward to seeing him make the step up and develop into a senior player this year.

Rhys has lots of potential, and we hope he can become a regular member of the Senior Team and represent the club for many years to come.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for Rhys and look forward to watching him continue his development in the black and gold.
