South Coast Training Camp 2026☀️

What an amazing last few days we’ve had down at our gym! 4 days of purely just hard work and also fun🤩 This is our 3rd year running this camp with Michael McKenzie and each year just keeps getting better and better, we cant wait to put out the dates for next year and hopefully better this again even more.

Thank you to all the clubs that came down to support this camp and us, we hope everyone had fun and most importantly learnt something new!⭐️

Kixstar Open 2026🌟

Well done to Lily and Jazz Hoy today, they both competed at the Kixstar Open in Crawley, the girls had solid matches and good performances resulting in Jazz taking a Gold medal and Lily taking a Silver medal🔥

Congratulations to Lily for also coming away with Best Female Athlete from today, she had 2 good fights putting on strong performances in both🙏

Unfortunately, due to John being away with the Military and illness we are unable to run classes for this evening, we sincerely apologise for this cancellation and please feel free to come along to any of the other days next week to make up for missing this session.

So proud of how far this man has come, after battling Cancer, we have had to rebuild him from the ground up. A year ago we hadn’t even started the process, he struggled to compete but still tried with everything he had. 🔥

We are back in Eswatini competing in same championships, he had 3 tough matches and the final was against a lad that had got through rounds at the Junior World Championships, who moved up to Seniors also competing at the Senior World Championships. Thando never dropped a round securing his Gold medal. We are still only at the beginning of his journey but the progress is there to be measured. 💪

Congratulations Thando and lets keep pushing! team wessex and everyone else are so proud of you!🤩

He put on outstanding performances all day, he left everything on the mat and came away with the gold, Thandos story is truly inspiring and it makes us team wessex so happy to see him do well and succeed because he deserves it!! He trains 5 days a week without fail and he is just in general the kindest, most respectful and humble person you’ll ever meet! So well done Thando🌟
