At this residential property in Sandbanks, Volsen is carrying out a complete roof transformation, with the existing roof being redesigned into a fully flat roof system and the removal of the existing roof lights.

Working through the summer conditions, the Volsen team has been starting on site at 6:30am on a regular basis to avoid the peak daytime temperatures and ensure the works continue safely and efficiently.

The new roof system will be finished with Wecryl 230 in RAL 7032, a light-coloured reflective finish designed to help reduce heat absorption and improve performance during warmer months.

This week, the WestWood team came together for our quarterly company meeting - a valuable opportunity to reconnect, share updates from across the business, discuss the market, and align on our priorities for the months ahead. 💚

These meetings are an important chance for everyone to come together, exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration, and ensure we're all working towards the same goals.

Afterwards, we headed to one of our favourite restaurants in Poole, the family-run St Tropez Lounge, for a fantastic meal together. It's always a special place to celebrate, relax, catch up, and enjoy spending time with colleagues outside of the office.

We rounded off the evening by cheering on England in the World Cup semi-final...

It wasn't the result we were hoping for, but it was a great way to end a brilliant day spent together as one team. ⚽👏

Across two demonstration sessions, attendees explored our slip-resistant and tile-effect systems, discovering the range of colours, finishes and possibilities available - while seeing first-hand the quality and versatility of WestWood technology. 💚

From tired and worn to clean, durable, and built to last. 👏

DWC Roofing Solutions Ltd recently completed the transformation of this cleaner's cupboard, starting by removing the failed screed-to-falls concrete and installing a brand-new screed-to-falls system.

The area was then fully waterproofed using the Wecryl system, including a 1.2m encapsulated upstand to create a seamless, watertight finish throughout.

The finished result is a hygienic, easy-to-maintain "Mars Bar" effect finish with excellent slip resistance, creating a practical, professional space that's ready to withstand everyday use.
