Let's talk dogs and parkrun!

We are a busy event, so here are a couple of friendly reminders to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable parkrun.

If you're running with your dog, please make sure they are under control and by your side at all times. Dogs must be on a short, hand-held, non-extendable lead throughout the event. This helps keep everyone safe and ensures all participants can enjoy their parkrun.

For your dogs safety at the start of our parkrun please consider starting on either side.

If you bring your dog along, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the parkrun dog policy before you arrive.

With a large turnouts, we'd also really appreciate everyone starting in their expected finish time order. If you're likely to finish a little quicker, please start nearer the front, and if you're taking a steadier pace, please start a little further back. It really helps reduce congestion and makes the start smoother for everyone.

Thank you for helping us keep parkrun safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

We have a collection of barcodes that we’d like to re-unite with their owners. Most are from runners registered at Poole parkrun. If you think one of these might be yours please get in touch here.

Bring water, whilst it’s not as hot as last week it’s still warm out and our only access to water is the lake!
