And that’s a wrap on another fantastic LMFC Tournament! ⚽

Across the weekend we welcomed almost 100 teams and around 750 children, creating two brilliant days of football, fun and memories. A special mention to our Lionesses, who completed a clean sweep today with trophy-winning performances 🦁🏆

There were definitely a few moments at 6am on Saturday, standing in the pouring rain, when we questioned our sanity! But seeing the smiles on the children’s faces made it clear we made the right decision to go ahead.

Thankfully the weather was much kinder today, helping to create a fantastic atmosphere around the whole event.

As always, none of this would be possible without everyone pulling together. Thank you to our volunteers, coaches, referees, players, parents and supporters who helped make the weekend such a success.

Now for a well-earned rest! ❤️🖤

Whether you’re a coach, committee member, parent helper or someone who simply steps in when needed, your support is what keeps our club running. Every training session, match and club event relies on people giving up their time to help our players enjoy football.

We are a community club run entirely by volunteers who dedicate countless hours week in, week out and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for our club and our children.

We’re now looking forward to a fantastic weekend at our annual tournament. Good luck to all of our teams and thank you to the many volunteers who will once again be helping to make it another great event. ⚽️🏆
