What a weekend at
The weather certainly didn’t make it easy, but it didn’t stop it from being another superb event. PBs were flying around all over the place and the atmosphere and support were brilliant all weekend.
We had two of our own representing Team Fortis:
took the step up from novice into the u115kg weight class and put in a great performance, finishing mid-pack in a seriously competitive field.
finished off his time in the novice class in the best possible way, taking the overall win! 🥇
We also had some great results from friends of Fortis, with taking the win in the Men’s Masters and winning the Women’s U75kg class!
Awesome effort from everyone who competed and a massive thank you to everyone from Team Fortis who came along and supported.
Well done to and the whole Hampshire’s Strongest team for putting on such a cool event despite everything the weather threw at you!

Another week of hard work put in at Fortis!
The effort and dedication across the gym has been incredible to see, with so many of our guys and girls getting serious as they prepare for their upcoming competitions. The focus, consistency and support everyone is showing each other is what Fortis is all about.
A massive shoutout as well to our Juniors class this week. The turnout was amazing, and the effort from every single one of them was outstanding. Seeing the next generation of strength athletes working hard, learning and enjoying themselves is awesome.
