Giffnock 3 v 4 Port Whites

Another slowish start for us, but up stepped Rhys with a ridiculous 25-yard worldie to give us the lead. We then conceded two quick goals, but against the run of play Max equalised with another absolute stunner. Leo then put us ahead with a well taken near post finish. Unbelievably, Giffnock equalised almost immediately to make it 3-3, with only 25 minutes played!

We changed the formation and looked much more solid straight away.

Into the second half and we took control of the game. Credit to Giffnock, though, as they are a very strong team and had their moments. They had beaten us 4/4 coming into today, so this was always going to be a huge test.

It was us who pushed hardest for the winner and we played some really nice stuff without creating anything absolutely clear-cut. Aiden had a shot in injury time that went just wide and we thought that was game over.

But from the goal kick, Leo drove down the wing and delivered an incredible cross. Max rose brilliantly and smashed a header into the net to win the game! 🤯⚽

Absolute scenes at the final whistle with the boys and coaches! 🙌

A brilliant result against a very strong team and a huge amount of credit to everyone involved. What a way to get the win!

Man of the Match: Max 👏

Ran himself into the ground, never gave up and popped up with the all-important winner. Outstanding effort from the big man! 💪⚽

OLA 1 v 4 Port junior whites

What a great win today! ⚽️ Four great goals, superb passing, and after an edgy start, the boys won every battle.

Our defence, and Adam in particular, were superb to a man. Jayden’s sliding tackle at 1–0 was absolutely vital.

Goals from Leo, Luke, Aidan and Arnav. 👏

All the new boys have bedded in brilliantly. Louie looks a real threat, and it was great to see Aidan get his goal after working so hard.

I honestly can’t stress enough how well the boys played today. It was brilliant to see.

🏆 Man of the Match: Daniel

The referee described Daniel as “unplayable” — and he was absolutely right. It was a truly incredible performance from Daniel.

Three points against a tricky opponent on a terrible pitch. 💪

Ersda division 1 cup final

Port 0 v 3 Dumbarton

The boys came up against the best team at ersda in the ERSDA Division 1 Cup Final, looking sharp in the new kits and ready for the challenge.

From the first whistle we held firm. The shape was disciplined, the work‑rate was outstanding, and some heroic defending — backed up by brilliant goalkeeping — kept the game tight at 0–0 going into halftime.

Second half, the pressure grew. Despite more last‑ditch blocks and what felt like the ball dropping to Dumbarton ten times in the box, they eventually forced the opener to make it 1–0.

As the game wore on we pushed higher and higher, chasing the equaliser we deserved. We were cruelly denied a penalty that could have changed everything. With the clock running down we had to commit bodies forward, and that left space for Dumbarton to grab two late goals and seal it 3–0.

But let’s be clear — these boys gave absolutely everything. They’ve risen through the leagues, earned their place on this stage, and fought for every inch to reach a Division 1 Cup Final. That journey alone is something to be proud of.

POTM: Logan O’Neil — an outstanding performance. Relentless work‑rate, quality on and off the ball, and never stopped battling. Well done, young man.

We’re disappointed, of course we are. But we dust ourselves down, we learn, and we go again. This team has never backed down from a challenge — and they won’t start now.

Division 1 Cup Final Message

Our boys step onto the pitch on Sunday for the ERSDA Division 1 Cup Final — against the all‑conquering Dumbarton side — and the pride we feel is off the scale.

We’ve come through a brutal league campaign, the so‑called group of death, and we didn’t just survive it… we won it. Anyone who knows this team knows one thing: no matter the odds, we are always in the fight. Our will to win, our refusal to fold, and our belief in each other means we battle to the very last kick.

On Sunday, nothing will be held back. Everything will be left out there. This group is going for major honours for the third season in a row, and that doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through character, graft, and heart.

We climbed the leagues. We earned our place. And now we’re at the top table of ERSDA football, playing in the Division 1 Cup Final. We’re not here to take part 💪💪💪💪

After a very rough start to life in division one the team have now adapted and are on a good run of form.

Last night we took on Johnstone in the final group game of the divison 1 cup group and beat the team top of the league to put ourselves into the FINAL .

Everyone is absolutely over the moon and just shows what happens when you stick together and believe.

Bring on the final 17th May.

Last nights 4-0 win was the team’s best performance maybe ever.

Weve not mentioned much this season as adapting to division 1 has been a tough lesson so far.

However yesterday we won 4-2 against a team who beat us 9-2 two months ago.

Absolutely buzzing about it we even scored the 4th with last kick of the game just like Scotland 😂😂😂😂

The boys never give up and now we are flying ⚽️⚽️
