Taibach U11s proudly took to the pitch as flagbearers at the Ospreys v Lions match at the Brewery Field ππ
An unforgettable experience for the boys, made even more special as they did it wearing their brand-new kit β generously funded by Below Surface, TJ Logos and CJ Construction. Your support means the world to grassroots rugby and opportunities like this simply donβt happen without it. Thank you π
It was also a poignant occasion. With uncertainty surrounding the future of the Ospreys, our young players were proud to show their support for everyone involved with the club β players, staff and supporters β during what must be a very difficult and unsettling time.
Moments like these remind us what rugby is all about: community, togetherness, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder when it matters most.
A credit to the U11s lads and a night to remember ππ€

All at Taibach RFC would like to wish one of our U14ββs players and his family safe travel back to New Zealand. Josh has played for the team this season and has been welcomed by the team who will all miss him. He has fitted in seamlessly, forged strong bonds and played with a smile on his face.
The U14βs coaches said βWe are proud to have coached you Josh. We enjoyed watching you develop your skills, show how committed a player should be and your fearless positive attitude on the pitch. You leave big boots to fill, stronger friendships behind, and a legacy of teamwork, effort, and respect. Good luck always from all the coaches.
Josh is the son of Margam lad Alistair Rogers. Al has enjoyed rugby success around the world and was an integral part of the All Blacks double World Cup winning coaching team. The club would like to thank Al for his support of the Senior XV this season. Thank you.
We wish all the Rogers family a safe trip home and best wishes for the future. See you all for the Lions tour 2029!
So Josh please remember:
βOnce a Tiger, always a Tigerβ.

Weβre excited to announce that Taibach RFC is setting up a new U6s team
(Year 1 in Primary School)
Weβre looking for players and coaches to help get this age group up and running.
No previous rugby experience is needed β WRU coaching training will be provided by the club.
Taibach RFC already has a thriving mini and junior section, and weβre keen to continue building this pathway so that rugby is available for all age groups at the club.
If your child would like to give rugby a try, or if youβre interested in helping out as a coach, weβd love to hear from you.
π© Please message us if youβre interested or would like more information.
Come and be part of the Taibach RFC family π
