Due to the current heat warning and the guidance advising that children should not take part in strenuous physical exercise during these conditions, there will be NO Junior Session and NO training for students aged 12 years and under this evening!

Seniors & Ages 13+ (Fitness & Kumite)
Session - 6:30pm – 7:15pm/7:30pm
(finish time will depend on temperature and conditions) - bring plenty of water/hydration drinks, towels etc.

WUKF World Championships Fundraiser Evening 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🥋🇷🇴

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Ruby and Sam will be competing for Karate Wales at the WUKF World Championships in Romania this July! 🇷🇴

To help support their journey, we’ll be hosting a Fundraiser Evening on Friday 3rd July. Tickets can be purchased at the Cwmafan/Margam Dojo or at the door on the night. The evening will include live music from the man himself - Sam Waters, a raffle with some amazing prizes and more entertainment. If you would like to help in any way, please get in touch with Gemma, Ruby, Sam, or myself.

We’re also looking for local businesses and companies who may be interested in sponsoring our athletes. Any support, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. 🙏

This is an amazing opportunity for Ruby and Sam, and we’re determined to help them (and their coach!) get to Romania to represent Wales on the world stage. 🌍🥋

As we are aware the temperatures this week are high and increasing day by day, with an Amber & Red Weather Warning for Extreme Heat starting on Wednesday. We will assess the situation day by day, and post out any information on training 👍

Training tonight is on 🙌🥋but with some adjustments:
👕 Students are welcome to train in T-Shirts and Gi Bottoms/Shorts
💦 Hydration breaks - bring plenty of water
🥋 Low intensity training sessions
