The dust has barely settled on the 2025/26 campaign, but behind the scenes preparations for next season are already gathering pace.

Cwmafan RFC now know the challenge that awaits in Division 2 West Central for 2026/27, and there will be no shortage of big tests, fierce rivalries and hard-fought afternoons ahead. Familiar local battles, difficult away trips and clubs with proud histories all promise a season packed with intensity from the very first whistle.

Pre-season planning is already underway both on and off the field, with work continuing to ensure the club is ready to compete in what looks set to be one of the toughest and most competitive leagues in recent years.

There’s a long road ahead, but one thing is certain..... the Red Army marches on!

Chairman Rhys Woolcock along with committee men Darran Grace and Julian Page sat down with Faye Davies from the .rugby Funding team on Thursday evening to discuss our funding options for upcoming projects including efforts to make our Club more sustainable and eco-friendly ensuring we remain a viable community asset for generations to come.
