💙 Goytre United Launch “The 1963 Supporters Club”

Goytre United Football Club is proud to announce the launch of The 1963 Supporters Club — a new initiative designed to bring supporters together and help secure the future of the club both on and off the pitch.

Named after the year the club was founded, The 1963 Supporters Club is more than just a membership scheme. It is a chance for the local community, loyal supporters, former players, families and friends of the club to unite behind Goytre United and help the club continue to compete at the highest possible level within the Welsh football pyramid.

For just £20 per month, members will receive a range of exclusive benefits including access to the 1963 Club and Pitch View Balcony on matchdays, free tea and coffee, free entry to all home cup games, involvement in Man of the Match selections, and access to exclusive club events.

With sponsorship becoming increasingly difficult to secure across grassroots and semi-professional football, the club hopes the new supporters club can create a sustainable foundation that allows Goytre United to continue growing and competing for years to come.

Since being established in 1963, Goytre United has been at the heart of the local community, creating memories across generations and giving players, supporters and volunteers a club to be proud of. The launch of The 1963 Supporters Club represents another important step in protecting that legacy and building a stronger future together.

Paul Batcup, committee member at Goytre United FC, said:

“This club has always been about community, pride and togetherness. The 1963 Supporters Club gives people the opportunity to play a real part in helping Goytre United move forward again. Every membership will directly support what we see on the pitch and help us continue striving to compete at the top end of Welsh football. NEWS: Goytre United FC Appoint Nathan Cadette as First Team Manager

Goytre United F.C. is delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Cadette as the club’s new First Team Manager ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

Following a thorough recruitment process after advertising the vacancy earlier this year, the club were hugely impressed by Nathan’s experience and clear vision for how he wants to build the identity of the team both on and off the pitch.

Nathan will officially begin his role at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 campaign, with preparations already turning towards pre-season planning and the club’s upcoming 2026/2027 Ardal League campaign.

While Nathan will officially start at the conclusion of the current campaign, everyone at the club is excited to begin this new chapter together. The hard work now begins behind the scenes as we build towards pre-season and our next Ardal campaign.

Everyone at Goytre United would like to welcome Nathan to the club and wish him every success in the role.
