Whether you're completely new to boxing or already have experience, new members are welcome. If you're joining us, be prepared to learn, work hard and commit to the sport.
We’re a boxing club, not a fitness class. If you join us, the expectation is that you’re here to learn, train and box. We’re not a gym for people looking to get fit for another sport or activity.

🥊 BOXING COMES FIRST.
We expect members to make the club a priority and commit to their training. Consistency, discipline and dedication are all part of being a boxer.

🥊 What to Bring
You must have:
*Gum shield
*Skipping rope
* Hand wraps
We have club gloves available, but these are shared between members. If you have your own gloves, we strongly recommend bringing them.
For sparring, gloves should be 12oz–16oz, depending on your weight and what your coach recommends.
(Bag gloves & sparring gloves)

⏰ 7PM means 7PM.
Please arrive early enough to get changed, wrap your hands and be fully ready to train at 7:00PM. We start sharp — not at 7:05, not at 7:10.

International experience for the two lads this weekend boxing for Wales in the four nations championships. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

When competing at this level it's very fine margins an unfortunately for these two we came up just short, never the less these two boxers represented the club & country with hounor & pride.

Both boxers putting masterclass boxing displays but on the day didn't quite get the nod.

Very proud of the club and how each an every boxer competed the weekend, two boxers narrowly missed out on getting to the finals losing on split decisions but that's top level boxing. The others all come away with medals 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈

More importantly the way the lads support each other is something you can't train, each boxer celebrating for their mates like they just won proper team spirit 🤝

The club year on year have grown & that's credit to each and every member that puts the time and effort in, iron sharpens iron.

2026 has been by far our biggest year & still not over with most medals & nationals won & not forgetting the world class facilities we have at LYONS DEN GYM, very grateful & lucky to be in the position we are in.
