The way it is!

1,000 free litres of Feast Watson timber stains and finishes are available now for Men's Sheds across Australia. 🪑

The donation by the Australian heritage woodcare brand will support woodworking, restoration and community projects undertaken by Men’s Sheds nationwide. And in doing so, it will also help fuel important moments of purpose and connection.

As part of the moving video introducing the partnership, Phil Terry from Monash Men's Shed summed it up: “The shed is alive, it’s a magical place.”

“These hands they’re important, you’ve got to be doing something with them, making something.”

When the stain is finally brushed on, Phil added: “It finishes the product. You’ve created something from nothing; it’s something that comes from within.”

It is now just two weeks to go until Cool FM presenters Pete, Paulo, and Rebecca take on their biggest fundraising challenge yet for Cash for Kids NI, powered by Omexom!

From the 7th to the 12th of September the group will cycle 800 miles from Paris through France, England, and Scotland to finish their journey at The Boulevard in Banbridge.

The goal is to raise over £100,000 pound to support children and young people across Northern Ireland affected by poverty, illness, disability, additional needs and other difficult circumstances.

We couldn’t be prouder to be sponsoring such an incredible charity and such an incredible challenge.

Visit https://www.cashforkidsgive.co.uk/campaign/paris-to-banbridge/fundraisers/pete-paulo-rebecca/ to donate.

How many men do we see every day who look absolutely fine… but aren’t?
This poster says it clearly — too many men still feel they have to hide how they are really feeling.
A simple message, a simple check-in, a simple conversation can matter more than we realise.
💚 Check in. Listen. Don’t judge.
💜 Your story matters.
Changing lives NI Hub is Open every Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.30pm to 9.00pm for drop in.

🌿 Another fantastic day at AMS ! 🌿

Our Neurodiverse Workshop was a great success, with everyone getting hands-on and building two of Ricky’s brilliant herb planter designs. It was fantastic to see everyone working together, learning new skills and enjoying the craic.

A huge thank you to Ricky, Marion, Stephanie and Edward for all their hard work organising and running the session – it wouldn’t have happened without you.

And of course, no Men’s Shed day would be complete without some great sandwiches, buns and plenty of tea! ☕🥪

Well done to everyone who took part. We can’t wait for the next one! 👏🌱
