The Academy is a British Gymnastics registered club that offers gymnastics classes run by experienced fully qualified gymnastics coaches. We are proud to have produced many International gymnasts who have represented Great Britain around the world, including at the Tokyo, Rio, Beijing and London Olympics.

Academy Christmas Comp 2026! 🏆

Save the date! This years Academy Christmas Competition for our Novice and Competitive Recreational gymnasts will take place on the 12th and 13th of December 2026.

Further information regarding specific times, tickets, and booking your gymnast into the competition will be sent to you via email in the coming months.

We've had an awesome summer filled with flips and fun and can't wait to start planning our October Half Term! ✨

Book your October Half Term fun now with our range of Camps and Clinics to keep your gymnast active during their time off school. We offer classes for a range of ages, abilities and interests so keep an eye out for the following events.

👧 Fun Camp – A mix of gymnastics, games, and creative activities designed to keep kids moving and smiling all day long!
🤸‍♀️ Cartwheel & Handstand Clinic – Master the basics with confidence and style!
🚀 Development Camp – For gymnasts looking to refine skills and build strength in a more advanced setting.
🏅 Bars & Beam Clinic – Focused training to build technique, control, and confidence on the Bars and Beam.
🔄 Flick & Somersault Clinic – Learn and improve dynamic tumbling with progressions tailored to your level.
🧩 SEN Camp – Inclusive sessions tailored to children with special educational needs. Calm, supportive, and full of fun.

As well as lots of Private Lessons with a range of coaches for personalised 1:1 sessions for all abilities. But book fast as these are in high demand!

Did you know we run Private Lessons at The Academy of Gymnastics? 💪

We offer a 1 hour session with a qualified coach to get personalised assistance for their progression. Private Lessons are for all abilities so whether you want an introduction to gymnastics, or to develop your existing skill set, we can assure you will come away feeling accomplished.

Due to last years demand, we are increasing the number of Private Lessons available each term. But book fast as these are subject to availability!

Private Lessons are held on Sunday afternoons, through half-terms, and on the occasional Saturday when space allows.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday we offer a range of activities to help develop your childs cognitive, motor and socials skills. After a successful NGA UK season, we are now looking for more eager gymnasts to join our Competitive Recreational programme! 🤸‍♀️

We are looking for gymnasts aged 6-18 to join our focused 2 hour classes. Our Comp Rec sessions provide training to refine your exisiting skills, and push abilities to new levels under the guidance of qualified coaches.

This year we took our Comp Rec groups to the NGA competitions across the UK giving our gymnasts the opportunity to show off their progress and begin to learn about the world of competitive gymnastics.
