Our Mini Blue of the Week this week was Charlotte! 💙

Full of energy and always on the move, Charlotte had a fantastic week.

She worked really well during the warm up, showing great ball skills before progressing into our games. When Billy the mascot joined in with the passing, Charlotte was keen to show him what we were doing and made sure to include him too.

Great work Charlotte, well done! ⚽️👏

⚽🏆 Mini Blues Presentation Afternoon 🏆⚽

On Sunday, we celebrated our fantastic Mini Blues at their presentation afternoon! 💙

We were delighted to welcome a very special guest, Billy, the mascot from Portland United. Billy joined us to help present trophies to each of our players as we recognised their achievements and progress over the past year. 🏆👏

It has been such a pleasure to see how far every one of our Mini Blues has come. We have had so much enjoyment helping you develop as players, build your skills and, most importantly, have fun playing football! ⚽💙

Once all the trophies had been presented, Billy got involved in the action and played football with our budding young players. He even took a turn in goal, encouraging the Mini Blues to take penalties! There were some fantastic goals scored and Billy made some great saves too! 🥅⚽🙌

After Billy had to head off, the fun continued with everyone enjoying the bouncy castle and making the most of a brilliant afternoon together. 🎉

A huge well done to all our Mini Blues, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves and everything you have achieved this year! 👏💙

We can’t wait to see what the next year brings and look forward to another amazing season together! ⚽💙

Oliver was our other Mini Blue of the Week this week! 🏆

Oliver has rejoined Mini Blues and has come back full of confidence and really enjoyed the session.

He worked incredibly hard on his ball control, and it was fantastic to see the improvement he has made. Oliver also did really well with his dribbling and defending during the mini matches.

One of our Mini Blues of the Week of the week this week was Callum! 🏆

He showed great listening skills, taking the time to understand the games, and got stuck into everything with a fantastic attitude.

Callum also played his first mini matches, and you could really see his confidence grow as the games progressed.

Cooper was our other Mini Blue of the Week this week!

Cooper listened really well during the session and showed great control during our ball skills activities.

He then demonstrated some fantastic dribbling skills during our Hungry Hippos game. Cooper was also brilliant at helping others understand the game and encouraging his teammates.

One of our Mini Blues of the Week this week was Ava!

Ava’s confidence has grown so much over the past few months, and it was lovely to see her cousins join the group this week. She was a little nervous at the start as she wasn’t on their team for all of the games, but she quickly settled in and demonstrated some fantastic warm up ball skills.

Ava has shown consistent improvement, both in her ability during our sessions and in her confidence, which continues to grow each week.

Great work Ava, well done! ⭐💙

💙 A Brilliant Day for Our Mini Blues! 💙

Some of our Mini Blues joined some of the Under 9s team at Camp & Satherley Stadium for the FA Cup game between Portland United and Sturminster Newton.

The Mini Blues had the fantastic opportunity to train on the pitch for around 30 minutes, with a very special visitor watching over them, Billy, the Blues mascot! ⚽️

The Mini Blues were absolutely delighted to see and meet Billy, and it certainly made their training session extra special!

Once training was finished, the children were presented with medals by some of the Blues players before walking out onto the pitch alongside the players just before kick-off! 🥇⚽️

What a brilliant experience and memories for our Mini Blues to take away from the day.

Brilliant work Mini Blues! 💙👏
