Thank you to our sponsors The Old Inn, Carbost, Isle of Skye for the support. And thank you to James 'Tatties' MacDonald for presenting the trophy and the Man of the Match award which went to Stewart Grant, scorer of the winning goal in injury time.

Congratulations to Portree on the win!

Result from yesterday's Highland Amateur Cup semi-final.

Unfortunately, the result did not go Mallaig's way but well done on a great run in this year's competition. The first team from the West Highland AFA to reach the semi-finals since Portree in 2004.

Congratulations to Golspie Stafford and Whalsay on reaching the final.

The Ross Cup final takes place in Uig tomorrow between North West Skye F.C. and Portree Football Club.

The Ross Cup is the oldest trophy to still be competed for within the association. Balmacara were the first team to win it back in 1931! Portree got their name on the trophy for the first time in 1951 and have a lifted it a few more times since, but they haven't featured in the final since 2016. It's also North West Skye's first appearance in the Ross Cup final since joining the Association in 2015, so both teams will be looking to make history as they carry on the legacy of the competition.

The association would like to thank matchday sponsors The Old Inn, Carbost, for their support. Beautifully situated on the banks of Loch Harport, The Old Inn provides top quality food, drinks and entertainment all year round. Make sure to catch one of the music sessions or live gig there for a brilliant night.
