The final results are in and Women’s Carp Team England managed to come in 2nd place and secured the silver medal for the team, only *just* missing out on the gold medal, but its still a massive achievement!
They also got a 1st place in the individual pairs ranking, with Ellen Beedham and Kayleigh Dowd Fishing getting the gold! Well done to everyone on the team.

A massive well done to Carp Team Wales Ladies Team, who, I'm sure all worked seriously hard these last few days, so well done to you aswell!

Today update from Carp Fishing World Championships for Women and Youth U22 - Latvia 2026. Good news all round for our home nations, Women’s Carp Team England have clawed back up a spot into 2nd place! And Carp Team Wales Ladies Team are also now on the scoreboard having landed a few fish overnight! Brilliant stuff, keep it going!

This evening update, Women’s Carp Team England have been knocked off the top spot and are now in 3rd place, which is still amazing! And 1 pair is in 1st overall - which is outstanding! Keep it up guys!

And we still have our fingers crossed for Carp Team Wales Ladies Team to get some fish on the bank. With the number of fish coming out things can turn round very quickly!

Well it seems the womens world championships is off the mark with quite a few fish landed over night, and Women’s Carp Team England are currently in the lead! Well done guys, keep at it, let's hope you keep the lead and hopefully Carp Team Wales Ladies Team will have some fish on the bank soon too! 🤞🤞🤞

The womens side of the competition seems to be very quiet so far, although it does seem Women’s Carp Team England have a fish in the sling, getting them onto the leaderboard going into the first night! Well done! Hopefully there's many more to come, and hopefully Carp Team Wales Ladies Team get on the board soon too 🤞🤞🤞
We have everything crossed for both our home nations teams!

The draws are all done, and all the participants are heading to and setting up in their pegs ready for the first buzzer to start fishing! A massive good luck to everyone fishing, and their support staff - it is a grueling, but amazing 72hrs for them all! We really wish we were there!

The match starts at 12.30pm local time (10.30 UK time) and we'll be following closely for the entire 72hrs!

We'd like to wish our fellow home nations, Women’s Carp Team England, Carp Team Wales Ladies Team and CARP Team England U22 a massive good luck for the week ahead, where they'll be competing in the world championships in Latvia. We are gutted not to be there, but we'll be following along closely and wishing them all the best, for what is an incredibly hard, but amazing 72 hours!
