PARMITERS ANTIQUES - 1913 ANTIQUE BIKE
We have lots of weird and wonderful modern bikes on the Ferry - one wheel, two wheels, three wheels, four wheels - you name it - but an antique bike is a first. 😲

This 1913 antique bike belongs to Parmiters Antiques of Southsea - and can often be seen outside their amazing shop in Albert Rd Southsea - just across the road from the Kings Theatre.

Parmiters is a landmark externally - and an antiques shop with a difference inside - with weird & unusual items for sale, from fairground & circus items, advertising objects, art & sculpture, through to traditional classic pieces.

So if you travel over to Southsea on the Ferry, the 25 bus takes you to Albert Rd traffic lights - and then take a walk along and check out the bars, cafes, and independent shops - and of course Parmiters Antiques.

The Kings Theatre opposite is open as usual - but also currently going through a major £4.5 million 1907 regeneration project, which will deliver a bright new entrance and foyer with bar area, and rehearsal and studio space for community use.

The Hayling Ferry is running again👍🏻

Following Sunday afternoon's Ferry service interruption after the Eastney pontoon was requisition by the Border Force - we can confirm that the Hayling Ferry is now accessible at Eastney and operating as normal from Monday 7 Sept.👌
