Yesterday on my way to yoga a neighbour called out ‘you’re too young to be doing yoga! It’s for old people’. I was caught by surprise and laughed it off, but it got me thinking about all the ways he was so so wrong.

Yoga teaches us how to move through life, how to cope with the hard parts, how to truly enjoy the good bits, how to be present and grateful for all the bits in between. Yoga helps us show up in the world as the best version of ourselves and treat the world and others with the most kindness we can.

So no, you are never ‘too young’ (or too old) to do yoga, in my opinion if everyone practiced more yoga the world would be a much better place!
