Saturdays never disappoint. 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Getting out in the fresh air and the chance to enjoy the grass track... Well, it just hit differently today. 🎽
Races are great no matter what, but there is something special about the kids getting to try out a track and gain some real speed.
It's also a great time to test out some super strength whilst running. 😆😍

Last Thursday, we headed back to the Summer Family Fun Day, in partnership with Park Community School Connect4Families . 💫
Considering how hot it was, the children (and some parents!) were very happy to join in the fun of our obstacle course and were up for a bit of friendly competition with others, as well as themselves!☀️👟
The children were of all ages and all ability, so it was incredible to see the level of confidence and appetite to give this type of physical activity a go! It does just go to show that the type of movements in Athletics is the foundation for any activity and sport.
And check out that leaderboard? That wasn't even everyone! But my favourite is Eoghan - he came back at least 10 times to try and beat his time.. and he improved by about 5 seconds! 😱💪
Can't wait to join in again next summer.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork. ✨
And our 💚Green Group💚 this Saturday morning for races was exactly that! They all huddled together like they were ready to do some serious motivational chants.
This is what we see in every class at Mini Athletics. Friendships forming, learning to help one another, sticking together and feeling part of a team.
