🌊 Not quite skins weather?
As summer starts to fade, a shoulder-season suit could be the perfect middle ground between swimming in a costume and pulling on a full wetsuit.
But what should you actually look for? How snug should it be? What thickness works best? And does a swim-specific suit really make a difference?
Olivier Wallien from WALLIEN talks us through everything you need to know about choosing a spring suit, from fit and flexibility to seams, zips and sustainable Yulex rubber.
Read our guide: How to choose a shoulder-season suit - in the link in our comments. 💙

"The swimming pool. To outdoor swimmers, tiled tanks of treated water can seem unappealing compared to wild, moving, natural water and expansive horizons. But they’re neither inferior nor separate from outdoor swimming; they’re equally important parts of the same story, offering the same benefits of freedom, community, health and personal growth. What’s more, swimming pools play an essential role in health equality, saving lives, and providing gateways to open water."
As public swimming pools face rising costs, closures and dwindling investment, communities are fighting to save them. In our September 'Pool Passion' issue, Rowan Clarke explores why pools matter to outdoor swimming. Check out her feature in our new issue. 💙
