The Churchillian War Room - Biker Coffee Morning

Average speed camera's are going up over Portsdown Hill this week - obviously this will not affect anybody visiting us at The Churchillian, as i'm sure you all adhere to the speed limits, but please tell your friends who may not be so careful.

Come and join the Mental Health Motorbike Hampshire regional team at the "Hayling Island Bike Night" on Thursday 20th August from 5pm to 8pm

So come along to Johns Cafe, Hayling Island Sea Front, PO11 OAS for a great evening. The cafe is right on the sea front, so what could be better than being by the sea, meeting up with fellow bikers and perhaps having a chat to Mental Health Motorbike team to find out how we are here to support the biking community.

Mental Health Motorbike exists to create meaningful and purposeful opportunities for all bikers, so that together we can grow the wellbeing of the biker community and to break the stigma around mental health. We do this through 1 to 1 and peer support, events, training activities and projects, working in partnership with other organisations and clubs.

The Dorset Regional Team would like to invite members of the military motorcycle community to a Veterans' Ride Out, on Saturday the 22nd August.

Whether you're an Armed Forces veteran, currently serving, or a reservist,
you're welcome to join us. This is a great opportunity to take a scenic route through the stunning Dorset countryside alongside fellow veterans, and to enjoy the camaraderie of the
motorcycle community.

We'll meet from 08:30 at The Bikers Loft in Poole, and be ready to depart at 10:30. Following a scenic route, our mid-point stop will be Compton Abbas Airfield, which coincides with their Summer Vintage Fly-In Weekend.

Our final destination will be The Churchill Arms in Alderholt, which is a Mental Health Motorbike Wellbeing Hub for the biker community.

We're grateful to Jason from The Bikers Loft for bringing his extensive experience to lead the ride-out, to support the wellbeing of our military community.
