Two years in the making… CorySideQuest ⚔️

Photoshoot and 2nd fat loss phase officially wrapped up today for Cory in the shape of his life.

We kicked off his second fat loss phase together at the start of May at 93KG. 15 weeks later, 15.1KG down, best shape of his life. Job done.

What makes Cory a privilege to coach is that he listens and executes the plan to a tee. I write the recipe, but he cooks.

Purely process oriented without any emotion getting in his way. He just puts his head down and gets it done. Week after week, check-in after check-in, no drama. That is the single biggest reason he is standing where he is today.

Now he has 4 weeks left in Northern Ireland before he makes the move over to Australia, so the reverse diet starts tomorrow and we bring the body back up to where it needs to be before the next chapter begins.

Cory, genuinely mate, it has been a privilege watching you transform over these two years. You came in trusted the process completely, and never once wavered when it got tough. Two years of that adds up to this. So proud of you bro.

On a side note, it turns out your coach can also double as your photographer when needed. The results speak for themselves on both fronts I’d say. 📸😏

Big things ahead. Australia does not know what is coming (kangaroos are in for a scrap or two now)👊

Back on stage for the Ibiza Classic ⚔️

Consistently surpassed every expectation. An absolutely phenomenal week with the best in the game. 💙

Cory’s first cut at took him from 98.5KG down to 81KG (17.2KG gone). ⚔️

Unbelievable changes to his physique, routines and mental space.

But not everyone is a competitive bodybuilder with physique goals as their number one priority all year round. Life happens. Travelling, experiences, enjoying a flexible approach. That’s not a setback, it’s just living.

Not every chapter should be a fat loss phase and it should never be.

But here’s what that first cut gave him. A higher base of muscle, a better understanding of his own body, and the knowledge that when he was ready to go again he’d be starting from a stronger position than before.

We came back into a gaining phase at the start of this year to stack on more quality size before he heads off travelling again later in the year. Then 6 weeks ago we flipped back into a deficit.

7.5KG down. Looking better at this starting point than most people look at their best.

Progress isn’t totally linear year to year. There will be phases where the priority shifts.

But if you’re doing it right, the trend should always be moving in the right direction. Better starting point, more muscle, better shape, higher maintenance, better outcome.

That’s what playing the long game actually looks like. 🏆

Away days & a phenomenal wrap up to this fat loss phase. ⚔️

Trip up to with while did some women stuff (idk 💅🤷)

Back to maintenance calories from today with output and training remains the exact same. 400 calorie increase daily above cutting calories. Pushing for anymore condition right now just wouldn’t serve any real benefit.

Performance has only improved throughout this fat loss phase, because I’ve taken the deficit gradually, over 6 months and I’m now at a point I’m satisfied with to reverse out and productively gain from.

Post Ibiza, I’ll enter a quick 2 week tidy up phase, then head into a slow lean gaining phase for the rest of the year. I’ve got a few more holidays at the back end of the year, so plenty of motivation not to bloat max. 🙅‍♂️

Now to spend the rest of the day checking in and getting the team well prepped for the week ahead. 🏆

It’s all love 😂

I couldn’t hop on this trend without backing each point up, so if any of these hit a bit too close to home, here’s why:

1. You eat skinny whip bars and wonder why you’re still hungry
👉98 calories isn’t a snack, it’s a tease. Low calorie food isn’t filling food. Protein and volume are what keep you satisfied.

2. You track a fish supper as 600 calories
👉A standard chip shop fish supper is closer to 1,200+ calories. Underestimating takeaways is one of the biggest reasons the scale stops moving.

3. You drink a white monster during your session
👉Not the worst thing in the world but if you’re trying to use the caffeine to aid performance, drink it 15-30 pre workout. If you drink it for taste, I respect it 👊

4. You don’t count the oil you cook with
👉A couple of glugs of olive oil is 200 calories. Every day. That’s 1,400 calories a week hiding in plain sight.

5. You measure your rice in cups
👉A cup of dry rice is around 675 calories. Weigh it in grams to drive up precision and eliminate any room for error in your food logs.

6. You track your honey in tablespoons
👉Again, cups, grams, tbsp, tsp… they can all vary. You’re not tracking accurately if you’re eyeballing.

7. You haven’t changed your working weights in 3 months
👉If the weight never goes up, neither does the muscle. Progressive overload isn’t optional.

8. You speed your set up when it starts to feel heavy
👉Tempo is a training variable. Rushing it is just cheating yourself out of the stimulus. Adjusting variables mid set is the quickest way to get sloppy.

9. You don’t meal prep because you don’t have time
👉You have time. You just haven’t made it a priority yet. You’re actually saving yourself time by meal prepping instead of cooking each meal individually.

10. You log all your meals last thing at night
👉Logging after the fact is guessing. Log before you eat and actually hit your numbers.

Fix one of these this week. 👊

My story yesterday got a lot of engagement so I wanted to show you exactly how I did it. 👇

I’ve lost 12KG of body fat since January 1st. 101kg down to 89.6KG.

And I’ve genuinely been out most weekends throughout. Meals out, nights out, weekends away. None of it avoided, all of it planned for.

This is not a hack and there’s absolutely no secret.

It comes down to one thing and it’s structure that’s built around your actual life rather than against it.

Build the right structure to allow for flexibility.

The work still gets done every single week, but never at the cost of holding yourself back massively.

That’s what All In means to me. Not going all in on one side. Going all in on all of it.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start, this is it. Apply via the link in my bio. 👊

You can call yourself out at any time. 🔊

Over the past few weeks I’d noticed that I’d started letting some of the small things slip in training.

Nothing dramatic, just a set cut short here, a rep not quite executed well enough. The kind of thing nobody notices but you.

Today I was sitting at my desk and it just hit me. My back training specifically just hasn’t been where it needs to be and I needed to change it. Not next week and not when things settle down.

So I packed my tripod, went to the gym, set it up, and recorded every single set.

No hiding from bad reps or a missing set when the camera is on you.

And I knew that I’d be annoyed at myself if I didn’t bring a high standard to every set, when I’d already called myself out. It just wouldn’t sit right with me.

That’s the thing nobody talks about, because you don’t need the perfect day, the perfect week, or the perfect moment to raise your standards. You just need to decide right now in the moment, then do something about it.

The big things are easy to track, like weight on the bar, calories hit, workouts completed.

But it’s the small things that actually build the physique. It’s the ex*****on, precision, intention, the rep you could have cut short but didn’t.

Take pride in those, because nobody else will do it for you.

Hold yourself to a high standard in the small things. It translates into everything else.

If there’s something you know you’ve been slacking in, fix it today. Do that enough and your physique and your life will only respond positively 6 months from now. 🤝

3 years ago Jordyn came to me skinny, no real direction and had never truly pushed himself beyond what felt comfortable. ⚔️

He’d trained before but never really tested himself. Never found out what he was actually made of.

So that’s where we started. Get strong and find out.

👉 October 2023 we put it to the test. Jordyn stepped onto a powerlifting platform, pulled the biggest squat of the day and finished 2nd at his first ever competition. Something clicked that day.

👉 March 2024 he went back, added 37.5KG to his total and came away with 1st. The guy had found something.

From there the goal changed completely. Jordyn caught the bodybuilding bug and we shifted focus.

After a long gaining phase we did a photoshoot in 2025, not to rush anything, just to learn. To get data before committing to the deep end. That experience taught us both a lot about how his body actually works.

👉January 2026 prep started. Slow and strategic. Food kept high and built around training. Activity only went up when it needed to. Week by week we protected every kg of muscle we’d spent years building.

👉 Sunday, Jordyn stepped on stage at his first ever classic physique competition. PCA First Timers 2026. 2nd place.

In his own words;

“Gary explains everything so clearly that you always know the reason behind what you’re doing. Every adjustment makes sense, nothing feels random. The support throughout prep, the attention to detail, the precision with every change, I always felt in good hands and had real intent behind every session and every meal.”

The longer I work with someone the more data I have and at this point I know Jordyn’s body just as much as I know my own 😂

Now into a productive gaining phase to bring up and weaknesses and bring the next best Jordyn to the stage in the future.

If you can take anything away from Jordyn’s story, it’s that you’re capable of a lot more than you think. You just haven’t had the right direction, structure or support system in place yet.

DM me “ALL IN” if you want to find out what you’re actually capable of.
