Details of this season’s Super Six league

This morning the ladies team were semi-final winners against New Longton 💚💛 A great game played by both sides with F&B coming out on top.

The ladies will now go onto the MHA Northern Pyramid Cricket Competition softball hundred cup final, a fantastic achievement.

As is my usual routine on a Friday evening, I went round F&B bins around the club with a litter picker and picked out the bottles and cans I could reach (🙈😡🤬) & moved them into the tubs we have for collecting recycling in. To my surprise one of general waste bins had multiple Booths bags with a child’s entire school exercise books from year 1 – 6! The child does not even appear to be one of our junior members.
Please note that Fulwood & Broughton Cricket Club do not run a municipal waste handling facility. Our bins are for waste from our bar / kitchen only & we encourage members and guests to follow the signs and place items in the correct bins to aid with our efforts to recycle as much of our waste as we can.
