Brad Potts also made his 250th appearance for and capped it off with a goal, his 22nd in all competitions.
Potts is now joint 48th in the all time appearance standings and joins Gary Swann and Tom Clarke who also have 250 appearances for the Lilywhites.

ON THIS DAY: in 2015, a penalty from Joe Garner seven minutes in to the second half was decisive, as Preston North End beat Reading 1-0 at Deepdale.
Victory made it back to back wins at Deepdale for the Lilywhites.

ON THIS DAY: in Blackburn Rovers beat 1-0 at Ewood Park, in what proved to be Frankie McAvoy’s final game in charge of the club.
Ben Brereton struck eight minutes into the second half to secure the win for Rovers.
Mat Olosunde almost made his debut playing 82 minutes.
ON THIS DAY: in 2000, Division One leaders Fulham visited Deepdale.
took an early lead, Michael Jackson heading home after just 3 minutes on the clock.
Fulham midfielder Sean Davies equalised on the half hour mark with an exquisite strike from range.
After the game Preston North End manager David Moyes said: "In all my time as manager here that has been the hardest game, apart from Arsenal and Everton.
"I thought Fulham were fantastic. The result is a credit to our lads who defended really well.
"I'm always delighted with goals but I was particularly pleased that we got one early."

ON THIS DAY: in 2009, Preston North End made the short trip down the M55 to face Blackpool.
Billy Clarke put the hosts in dreamland opening the scoring after only one minute.
Ross Wallace would equalise late in the first-half with a trademark free kick to earn a point.
